14 guests' feedbackThe swimming pool, braai facilities and garden are lovely. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the following: Unit 6. There was no aircon in the bedroom, although it is listed as 'air cooled'. There was no WiFi, although it is listed as 'WiFi'. I feel this information should be shared in advance. Unit 6. The TV was a Smart TV, but the WiFi does not work. So it makes no sense at all. Unit 6. The DSTV remote did not contain batteries. Unit 6. The TV is large, but the image was not clear. Unit 6. The shower head is broken, which makes the shower facilities unpleasant. Unit 6. The outside light doesn't work, we sat and ate in the dark. In summary, I think it's a very nice place to stay, there are just a few things that NEED to be improved, OR the price needs to be adjusted.
The owners let us check in early as we were on our way to a festival near Durbanmist - that helped a lot. The owner was also in contact with us all the time to hear if everything was right according to our reservation. Very good service.
What a lovely surprise to find out that the place belongs to very old friends that I had not seen in years.
The amount charged is too high for the kind of rooms they offer. There is no luxury at all there. The rooms are too small and basic. It was not a lekker slaap at all because of the beds. We had back pains because of those beds. They need to buy quality beds and proper side bed pedestals/drawers.

When we left, we forgot our wallet in the room and contacted them. The owner kindly called us back and confirmed that we could come and collect it. This is service! Will use Durbanmist again. Very nice garden.
The place has everything you need. You just need to bring yourself and food. Beautiful environment, you feel safe. It's quiet. Good for couples. Just the DStv needs to be updated.
