Beautiful location, nice and quiet with a lovely view of the vineyards. Staff were very friendly and we were greeted with a fresh loaf of bread and jam in the kitchen. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated, with everything you need. The infinity pool is the ideal place to cool down and relax on a hot day. For those planning a wedding, this can be the perfect location.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit is well equipped and tidy. We really enjoyed the large lawn and pool. The view is beautiful and the gardens very well maintained. The accommodation is so lovely, you just want to stay there.
The place is fantastically furnished, down to the smallest detail. There was even freshly baked bread with butter and jam, and a nice bottle of wine provided. The farm is only 12km from Robertson and close to all the eateries and famous wine farms. We will stay longer next time!
Perfect location, overlooking vineyards and mountains, so peaceful. Accommodation has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is well equipped with everything. The large porch is enjoyable, so cozy even if the wind was blowing like that. Nice big swimming pool.

The setting at DuVon Farmhouse is amazing and I will definitely book again. The only downside was that there was maintenance/construction on site during my visit. If not for that, I would have allowed my nephew to play freely. One of the workers made me feel a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards from the stoep of our cottage. The affinity pool was the cherry on top, and the perfect spot to chill out after a day of sightseeing. Great contact from owner ensured we knew where and how to check-in. Unit 1 is beautifully located in a rural area, perfectly placed to sample and buy the famous Graham Beck Cap Classique champagne. Need to plan ahead to bring food. Great facilities to cook or reheat. Enjoyed the infinity swimming pool with vineyard, and mountain views. Such a treat after the flight to Cape Town. Laura and Lena were very helpful in showing the apartment. We were lucky unit 2 was not occupied as dinner on the deck was delightful. Not sure the stay would be the same if the wedding venue was in use, but loved our brief 1-night stop. Would love to stay longer and will return.

What a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom house with en suite bathrooms! An equipped kitchen with a nice sitting area. Set away from the noise with lovely gardens and lots to see. Upon arrival we received freshly baked bread and a bottle of Bon Courage was waiting in the fridge. The facilities provided everything we needed. Can definitely recommend for couples, groups or parents with young children.

After a long day's driving, it is surprising to be greeted with fresh bread, butter, jam, coffee, tea, milk and everything needed to give strength for unpacking. Surprise - and wine in the fridge! Thank you Laura! We were in apartment 1, but both apartments have been beautifully redone, even the old wooden floors have been sanded down and shine like new. Flats 1 and 2 are adjacent in what was once one massive old farmhouse. Each apartment is still very spacious with huge rooms. All that bothered was the fold-out sofa bed that doubles as the TV lounge sofa. The stuff is always temperamental and the mattress keeps shifting awkwardly and not nice to sit on. There is a second comfortable couch to sit on. The king size bed's mattress is good quality and very comfortable. Each bathroom has its own shower - and is probably one of the nicest showers I've ever used. We didn't lack anything - our 4 days were indeed too short!

I would recommend DuVon Farmhouse to a friend, but probably not a friend with young children as the fencing at the end of the yard is not as high or enclosed as I'd hoped and we couldn't sit and really relax while watching our children play.

This is our second visit to Duvon this year and we are in love. We will come back every chance we can.

The place is located on a beautiful wine farm, where you have the most breathtaking view at your disposal. The warmth of the environment overwhelms the cold winter weather.
Very accommodating staff. The freshly baked bread on arrival was a nice surprise. Amazing cottage. Perfect location to get away from the city.
The complimentary wine and chocolate on arrival that was promised on the website was not received, and that was a bit disappointing.
The only problem was that there wasn't a clear office or reception area. We had quite a search until a staff member came and helped us. Otherwise the accommodation was well equipped for self-catering and definitely a good place to use as base if you were to spend a few days here and explore the area.
We will stay here again the first chance we get! The value for money is unbelievable and it is just a bit more than a hour's drive from Cape Town! The house is unbelievably spacious and has the most beautiful wooden floors, full DStv, a great veranda and braai area - the view over the vineyard and mountains is unbelievable and the swimming pool too! I sat there for hours just staring at the view. The weekend just wasn't long enough! You are welcomed with fresh farm bread, a bottle of Duvon wine and they provide some wood for the braai. If you want to rest and shut off a bit, this is the place to got! I can't wait to return! Would recommend it a hundred times over!
We had a lovely time for a week in DuVon. It is suitable if you just want to sit back and stare over the vineyards or to take day trips to wine farms, towns etc. The accommodation was spacious and neat and Armand made anything we wanted happen very quickly.
Had an unbelievable time. The swimming pool overlooks the whole Robertson. The home baked bread and jam we received when we arrived and the free bottle Duvon wine contributed to our lovely time there. Friendly people and well equipped house also contributed to our smile. Will stay there again without a doubt.
We enjoyed our weekend at Duvon a lot, beautiful farmhouse with wooden floors, good facilities. The farm bread and bottle of wine was a nice surprise. We just had to keep an eye on our little boy with the open swimming pool, but the lawn serves as a good playground. I was happy to see that there were enough cloths, sponges and dishcloths for washing the dishes. Usually not enough at self service units. The glass door in front of the one bedroom door needs a curtain, the light can bother children when they go to bed early
We were very happy with Duvon, it's a lovely place, nicely decorated and value for money. There is a lovely lawn for the children and a swimming pool.
We have visited several places in the Western Cape over the past few months, and Duvon Farmhouse is definitely at the top of our destination list. We had a good rest and the pool is a bonus. Duvon Farmhouse will definitely see us again.
I love that guests are welcomed with freshly baked bread, a bottle of wine and a basket full of firewood. The spacious rooms and well-equipped kitchen make one feel welcome. Winter and summer months are well catered for in terms of air conditioning and heating, and the pool is an absolute winner. This is one of the few places that the wife and I agree on - we get value for money, we would recommend it AND we would return to such a place.

I was satisfied with the accommodation and hospitality. Nice big rooms and big lawn for the babies to crawl around on. Nice and quiet and didn't have to deal with noise. Fairly private from the other guests.
We had a really nice stay. Everything was so special and well appointed for a lovely stay. We just wanted to stay for a few days!
We never saw the host/wife. There was therefore no mention of the advertised "fresh bun and bottle of wine". Both units' TV channels are controlled from one unit ─ so if you're in the other unit, you watch what your neighbors decide to watch, or which channel the previous tenants left the decoder on. The place is nicely restored and comfortable otherwise. However, the cage in the master bedroom is so cracked that one cannot sleep on it without a few sleeping pills. So we just slept in the second room and on the sofa. A previous guest already mentioned the bed more than a year ago in the "Guest Book", but it does not appear that any attention has been paid to it in the meantime.
Weekend accommodation for horse show. We had to be in Robertson for a horse show and decided to stay out of town. The units were well equipped, clean, tidy, homely and comfortable. The pool refreshing and the silence wonderful!
