You will possibly find the same great hospitality somewhere, but you will struggle to beat it.

Although the farm is a few km from Graaff-Reinet, the drive is worth it. The farm is at the end of the road in a valley, between the mountains. It has nice walking space with two-track paths along it. The cottage is well equipped and has a nice fireplace to temper the winter cold.
We were received very kindly. The unit was clean and tidy. The farm is located in a very beautiful environment.
The accommodation was top notch, but because we were such a large group we had to wash dishes all the time! Maybe a house cleaning option can be included.
Wonderful place to stay, and will come back and stay a little longer. Everything needed, really enjoyed the quiet and beautiful setting between the mountains. Friendly host, beautifully clean!

We as a family have chosen to enter 2022 in silence under the stars. Our grandchildren were "mesmerised" with farm life. Everything we needed was there and the beautiful world was the icing on the cake. Thank you very much Stephanie for the lovely time.

Accommodation very nicely equipped. Facilities more than enough. Price for accommodation very reasonable. However, guests only need to be informed in advance about the 20 km dirt road to the farm.
Staying over at Eenzaamheid was a wonderful experience, Stephanie is a caring and friendly hostess who immediately made us feel at home. The unit we stayed in had everything we needed. As a bonus we got to experience all night Karoo rain, what an experience.

The room is absolutely clean and tidy and meets all requirements. We did not make use of meals, but barbecued ourselves. We 100% understand that flies are part of farm life (and everyday existence) but an insect net in front of the door, or even just a net above the bed would not be a bad plan! We were busy blowing flies all night!
Our goal was to be in nature and Eenzaamheid totally met our need. Hostess was very friendly and helpful and the room was beautifully equipped and very clean and tidy. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful guest farm in the heart of the Karoo with very hospitable and helpful people. Haven't stayed so nice in a long time.
I stayed in the family room during my stay. I had also been smart by asking for both breakfast and dinner. For me, it was the nicest stay I experienced during my vacation on my own. The hospitality made you realize again what is important in life. You could properly charge your batteries and be deliciously spoiled by the whole team. From Stepnie and Francois to the Jack Russeles team who come to say hello. The farm is in a conservation area which is fenced and controlled by access gates which makes it very safe to stay there. For parents with children there is a lovely large lawn where the children can get rid of all their energy after a day on the road. There are really few places that I would recommend you to stay a minimum of 2 nights instead. This is really true one of them. And book a dinner and you will always want to come back.

Eensaamheid was just what we needed to detox from city life. No TV, no Wi-Fi - awesome! Slept so well in the very comfy beds. Loved all the dogs who visited us often. Stunning boma - thanks for a great stay, Stephanie.
We stayed at Eenzaamheid Vakansieplaas for 2 nights as a midpoint to our destination and then on our way back. What a fantastic place. It is a picturesque setting that makes your heart overflow with tranquility. The only bad thing I can mention is that the bed is not made for tall people and each bed has a footboard which doesn't make things easier. Otherwise, 10 out of 10 for Stephanie and this fantastic peaceful place.
We were warmly received by Stephanie and immediately felt at home. All the Jack Russells made my wife feel even more at home. We could walk widely on the farm and enjoy the Karoo beauty. Exactly what we wanted to do.

The farm is remote and therefore wonderfully peaceful, safe and fun for children to play and ride bikes. The farm pond (nice and clean swimming pool) was a wonderful place to cool down and hang out. We will go again for sure!

Whenever you want to hide from the city noise and from your cellphone's ringing, you should come to this place. The surrounding mountains, gravel road leading to the farm, herd of sheep that greeted us as the gate, all contributed to our realisation that a holiday or break away doesn't necessarily have to be at a beach, hotel or caravan park. Many picture taking opportunities!

Friendly reception by Stephanie on our arrival at the farm. She made us feel at home very quickly. The rooms are very nice and comfortably equipped and the place has everything you need for self-catering. Braai under the stars, what more could anyone want? The area was quiet during the night and the next morning we had a nice jog and cooled off in the farm dam later before breakfast. Eenzaamheid is incredibly beautiful and it was such a nice way to start our holiday! The area is also very clean and neat and very affordable. I will book a stay on this farm again anytime, without a doubt.
The road to Eenzaamheid was a bit challenging, but the scenery was amazing with animals like Kudus, ibex, ground squirrels to be seen. The picture at the end was breathtaking with green grasses and old style Cape house. The reception by Stefinie was warm and welcome and she is a real star. The room was incredibly beautiful for us with all the old wooden floors etc. Everything was a fantastic experience and value for money. We would definitely recommend Eenzaamheid to anyone looking for a real break from the everyday hustle and bustle.

The farm atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately, some of the kitchen utensils still had food from the previous guests on them. The fact that certain facilities/activities were advertised and in our case were definitely an attraction and then were not available was very disappointing.
Very neat and clean. Charcoal stove an absolute winner! Wish we could have stayed longer!
The Therons immediately made us feel very welcome and the stove in the family room was lovely on the freezing cold evening. The children thoroughly enjoyed the farm activities. We will definitely visit Eenzaamheid again, but this time as a destination for a few days!

We slept well, nice and spacious room with separate living room / kitchen and bathroom. The sky is so clean and unpolluted and so the stars were so clear that I could take the best photos of the milky way here in my opinion! We had fun riding our mountain bikes through the farm and highly recommend Eenzaamheid!

Very clean and comfortable, with a great farm atmosphere and beautiful Camdeboo scenery. Stephanie's cooking a treat - and we would suggest you pay for D&B (Dinner and Breakfast) rather than self-catering. Conservancy gravel road from the tar road was a bit dodgy if you don't have a 4X4 - we almost got bogged down in mud - but this was admittedly after days of rain, which is highly unusual here. Suggest that a short hiking trail be formalised to attract people to stay a day - I took an animal path (or at least I think it was) toward the mountain, and enjoyed a scenic hour's walk.
This was a wonderful end to our weeks holiday in Knysna. The accomodation and the food was faultless and our host was very friendly.
Feels as if you are at home away from home. food is outstanding as is the hosts receiving you. will recommend to anyone travelling in that area.
