Elgin Country Lodge took our breath away! We stayed in the guest house which accommodates 4 people. Located in the middle of an apple orchard and against a dam, this farm is truly picturesque and balm for a tired city soul. The house is excellently equipped and guests' comfort has been taken into account. Beautiful bedrooms, comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Good WiFi and even braai facilities. We lost our hearts at Elgin Country Lodge and it was hard to pack up and go home. Our next getaway chance will definitely be there! The people are friendly and made us feel at home, Pat also gave us information about where we can eat well and things to do.
Elgin Country Lodge is ideally located to explore the entire area from Elgin Valley, Grabouw to Hermanus. The Elgin Country Lodge is centrally located and is well managed. The rooms are beautiful, with mountain views and lovely apple orchards. Breakfast is served stylishly and served. The hostess, Pat, is extremely professional, taking care of all the needs of her guests. I can happily recommend this stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Elgin Country Lodge. We stayed for 2 nights while participating in Wine2Whales mountain bike stage race. The lodge is conveniently close to Oak Valley and we could ride in and out with our bikes. The views from the stoep were spectacular. Our room was spotless, the public lounge is stuffed with good books and breakfast was good - fresh fruit etc. Pat is an amazing host and went out of her way to make us feel right at home. I would certainly strongly recommend it.
We loved our stay in the upstairs room - it was warm and cosy and provided everything we needed including a spectacular view. Everything was really well organised, complete with a secure place to lock our bicycles. We had super breakfasts and enjoyed the use of the lounge and fireplace at night.
Great guest house. We were warmly received and our host and hostess went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room is super neat and clean and there was nothing we lacked in this room. Even the filter coffee in this room is a big treat. The continental breakfast was delicious and tastefully prepared. We will definitely come and stay here again and will definitely stay longer than the 2 days we stayed now.

This old farmhouse was transformed into a luxurious guesthouse. The rooms are neat and spacious and the manager has high standards. The farm is across the road from Peregrine on the N2. I will recommend them.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elgin Country Lodge. The location is great, right near Peregrine Farm Stall and central to the area, the rooms were clean and beautiful and the farm is beautiful. We enjoyed our stroll through the orchards. Pat is an absolute gem, she really makes the place feel like home away from home.

Beautiful accommodation to relax and get away from it all. Pat is a gracious hostess, opening the lounge and kitchen area to her guests after hours. The room upstairs is particularly beautiful and spacious and private.
We arrived at the guest house and were welcomed like old friends, the rooms are spacious and spotless. The apple orchard that borders the guest house teems with bird sounds and the sense of calm invigorates your soul. The one day break benefited us like a three week holiday, I will definitely go back again.

Tastefully decorated combo old and new. Newly conversion of 1950's farmhouse. All pluses. Will visit again when next attend a Cluver amphitheatre concert.
