Very nice, basically, more than enough for a stopover.
This was the second time we stayed at En Route. Value for money and clean. Attention is paid to small things - like shower gel in the shower. The rooms are clean and tidy. You get so much more than the price.
It was really nice to sleep over at En Route on the way to Cape Town. Stay place is very clean and tidy as well as very comfortable. Everything one needs in one room. With the braai facilities right in front of you as well as space for your vehicle right in front of your door makes it nice and comfortable. DSTV and WiFi available and was convenient for the children. Would recommend En Route anytime to anyone looking for a place to rest. You will definitely see us again.

Perfect location close to town.
This is perfect for quick overnight stay. Open 24/7 which is great if one is arriving late at night or wants to leave early morning. Staff friendly and efficient, felt 100% safe, room was clean, uncluttered, all amenities including microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery for self-catering are available as well as a table with 2 chairs - great if one needs to do some work in the evening. Did not use outside facilities, but they looked good. The bathroom has a spacious, good shower and is en suite. Good linens, plenty of warm blankets for a very cold night. Even though the mattress is good quality and firm, it has springs, thus every movement by either of us was felt, which did disturb my sleep a little. Would rather choose a room with 2 3/4 beds for next time. Thank you!

Pleasant and clean. Booked easily and was able to leave early and leave the key in the unit. No noise from truck engines. We will definitely use en route again to sleep over.
And Route is neat and clean. There is a nice piece of grass as well as a braai in front of your room. Highly recommended.
One small problem was that there was no toilet paper in the toilet but we brought this to the attention of the management.

Guests' noise late at night and early in the morning was not pleasant. Rooms are right next to each other and you hear every sound from guests next to you. The guests came in late (11:00 p.m.) with a lot of noise and so did the next morning (05:00 a.m.). Maybe there should be more rules around silence.
You don't need more. Braai area, fridge, eating utensils, microwave oven, comfortable beds, clean linen and hot water for shower. Then you can buy what you need from their office for your barbecue!

We tow caravans and then had to find a place to sleep. And Route was our first choice. They have plenty of secure parking for our 2 vehicles and caravans. Very neat, reasonable and spacious rooms. Even made a cot available for the baby without us even having to ask. We appreciate your friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay with you every time, if needed.
Room is small, but clean and tidy. It is perfectly adequate for the overnight purposes we used it for. It is also a safe complex for us, our bikes and vehicle.

Upon arrival I was kindly welcomed and helped to check in for my room which I booked online the same day. I only stayed one night. The experience was beyond expectations. I slept well and enjoyed the self-help facilities. The bathroom that has its own door is a bonus, especially if you are more than one person. Als was clean and tidy. I give En Route ten out of ten and have suggested En Route to my father for their overnight stay this coming weekend.

En Route is a comfortable establishment, ideal for travelers looking for safe overnight accommodation. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. There is secure parking. The only point that could be improved is the absence of a nice garden or greenery. The absence of it makes it feel very industrial and loses some of the potential charm it could possibly offer. Other than this it is definitely a good establishment that I will use again.
Rates are reasonable and the premises and overnight quarters are clean and tidy. Nothing short.

After 9 hours on the road, the resting place was very welcome. Rooms are small, but perfect for an overnight stay. 2 rooms used. Food at restaurant by garage was better than expected.
Everything needed is there. Good mattress and bedding, tasteful decor, WiFi, full DSTV, air conditioning that doesn't make noise. Good place for overnight. Would recommend En Route. The only negative is the fact that the person next to me had a friend and four girls hanging out, the music was deafeningly loud. Instead of a quiet evening around the fire, I had to listen to the noise. Reception said they could go on until 9am. I feel no loud music should be allowed.
For the price, it was definitely worth it and the people that helped us was very friendly.
Although a bit of dirt road it was still worth it.
I didn't like the fact that they advertise as self-catering, but then there is no stove, or a pot or pan, or an egg spatula or barbecue utensils. We had to ask for it. Kitchen also very cramped. Shower floor is flat, so you stand in a puddle of water. Would have liked to have been able to have an electric blanket against the cold.
The one neighbour was quite noisy as the rooms are attached. Unfortunately Covid restrictions made it difficult to find an adequate option to eat. There was no map provided for shopping references, especially restaurants.

It is a very neat place. Not far from shops.
Very comfortable overnight facilities. Cars park right in front of each unit. Our request for a loose braai was carried out very quickly and kindly. Wood and ice for sale on site is very convenient.

En Route is well located in Beaufort West for a carefree night's sleep during a long N1 journey. The room was clean and tidy with all necessary facilities, including a small kitchen. The braai is neat and the grill provided is clean. The office provides wood and lighters, so a traveler with an hour to spare for peace and quiet can have a good barbecue without having to bring his own equipment. Access is easy for check-in and check-out so early or late check-in or check-out is easy.

Ideal overnight stay for busy people. There are gas stations nearby, as well as a 24-hour shop with frozen Karoo mutton. En Route has freezing facilities, as well as a playground for children. The air conditioning is particularly quiet and you rest well. One also feels very safe.

The English slogan 'don't judge a book by it's cover' struck me when I walked into the room. When you drive up and you see the neglected street and the cleanliness of the neighbors then you think 'oh my father what have we done' but as soon as you enter the premises you are received with hospitality and then you enter the oasis. Everything you need was available! It's just a shame the 'free WiFi is only for 250 MB - then remove the reference to free WiFi in the ad instead, because it creates the impression that access to the network is free for the period of your stay.
We were only disappointed because we booked units 6 & 7 next to each other, but when we arrived there were already people in number 7 and we should have taken 6 & 8.

Would appreciate toilet spray only. Had to buy myself. You only get a little milk if you check in at night. Had to buy further myself. Also asked us if they should clean the place regularly and then said that we will make the bed ourselves. We had a nice stay. Nice warm sleep!
