20 guests' feedbackDisappointed in the poky rooms and looking at a fence with a thick bush in front of me. To the right, the worker's quarters and to the left another poky lapa. Overpriced and no beauty.
The accommodation is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and it's a nice and quiet place in nature, to break away from the city rush.
Basically only used the accommodation to sleep over. As a family, we wanted to play board games at night though. The Impala unit which can accommodate 8 persons fall far short in terms of seating (only 2 proper chairs, and a coach (probably a sleeper couch) that is very uncomfortable to sit on). Also, no table and chairs (not sure how people are supposed to eat any meals prepared in the kitchen which is well equipped). We left a day early as there is absolutely no other activities at night. Obviously, they wanted to know why, and when we mentioned no table and chairs specifically, we were told we should've asked. Never in my life did I expect one could ask for furniture to be provided should the need arise. In terms of cleanliness no complaints. Fans and lights cannot be switched off/on in accordance with one's own requirements because of where they are located, and the fact that the chains needed to switch on/off is mostly broken. December is very hot in that area, and working fans are an absolute must. They advertise free Wi-Fi, which is absolutely pathetic as we never managed to use it at all.
Stay was excellent, room and pool clean. Had a good rest.
Was clean and slept well, only load shedding was a problem.
We had a lovely evening but would love to go back if they could just look at the beds. Our bed was old and fluffy. It felt like the bed springs were pressing into your back, no matter how hard you tried to sleep. I think maybe just looking at the beds. That was all that put us off terribly.
Some kind of a light during load shedding would be nice.
The place it keeps you at ease and good place to ease the mind and release stress. Good place to unwind and really good for strong bond. The place not to be too quiet. Some activities around the bush or entertainment on cottages are needed, but it's really a beautiful place to relax and recharge.
We received a warm and hospitable welcome by our hostess, Christel, who showed us the farm right away. Two beautiful, sparkling and clean solar-heated swimming pools (one of which is close to the beautiful residential washing stations). I couldn't count exactly how many stands, but what caught my attention is that a few of them have pavement with "private" ablution facilities. Nice under the trees and very close to nature. Our unit (Nyala) was also shown to us by Christel, very spacious, warm and downright homely. The farm in general is very peaceful, neat and clean, definitely something that any nature lover will enjoy with roebuck right next to the wire and beautiful walking/hiking paths for those who have the strength. Christel checked on us regularly throughout the weekend and made sure there was nothing missing and that we were comfortable. Christel and the staff make guests feel welcome. Definitely a place I would recommend. Thank you Christel.

What a wonderful tucked away private bushland stay, peaceful in nature with no nonsense. What more do you need?
No radio, no tv, no noise, excellent place to visit. Peaceful and quite, just what I needed, relaxing.
I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Stayed as 3 couples. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The chalets are set out neatly around the swimming pool. Was also really impressed with the braai area and lapa. Perfect to completely break away from the city life for a few days.
The accommodation was perfect and peaceful. We loved it.
Comfortable, neat, self-catering chalets with just the basic facilities, friendly welcome, owner makes an effort to meet his guests. They're busy with some upgrades. Camping area is comfortable, neat and family friendly, entry route is easy and convenient, car friendly. Would definitely make use of Galago again.

Wi-Fi is sad. No television or radio. No variety in the evening after dark. Shop limited to supply. It's good if you just want to switch off. Don't expect luxury. Expected more for the price.
