Eagle Owl Cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises a bedroom containing a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom containing 2 single beds which makes use of a separate bathroom. There is weber should you wish to braai.
Peacock Cottage can also accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises a bedroom containing a king-size bed and a second bedroom containing 2 single beds, both of which feature an en-suite bathroom. Peacock Cottage has a fireplace and an undercover braai area.
Both cottages have an open-plan living area, and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare and cook meals, along with an outside vegetable garden to select from. Quiet area. The outdoor enclosed braai is the best place to visit!
Beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need to have a fully self-catered holiday. Extremely comfortable beds, strong showers and well-planned load-shedding arrangements make for a relaxing stay. During load shedding there are lights, WiFi and a gas hot plate. Very nice places to eat nearby (Beaumont, Farro, Ou Meul Bakery) - and you can braai if you want to. Our second visit and we will be back.
Peacock Cottage's sheltered indoor braai is a winner, and the views are fantastic. Melissa is also an excellent hostess. Highly recommended!

Well-appointed cottage, absolutely lived in the semi-enclosed outside room with the built-in braai! Wood, firestarters and your choice of braai grids - my hubby was in 7th heaven!
The most beautiful view of Bo river wetland, feast of birds, wild ducks, even an osprey calling. Hemel-en-Arde Valley's mountains in the background. Really a wonderful experience. Melissa, our hostess, very friendly and helpful. Thanks for complimentary bottle of MCC!

The cottages are modern and relaxing. It is a bonus that you can walk to the delicious MCC tasting on the farm.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Peacock cottage. It is very well equipped, neat as a pin and super clean. The semi enclosed outside room with built-in braai is a wonderful place to kick back and spend time. Green lawns and beautiful views all around. Tons of bird life - wild and domestic. The bubbles are amazing too.

Genevieve Cottages has a lovely farm feeling, combined with an incredible view and cozy comfort. Easy to feel at home. Loved the braai room. Loved the MCC. Everyone in our group loved it.
It was a nice tranquil evening and with the wood provided for the indoor fireplace, a nice warm place to hang out. A nice touch was the bottle MCC. The location is great with other wine farms nearby and Hermanus a short drive away. We loved the indoor braai room in the Peacock cottage. We will most definitely be back again.
The cottage oozed charm, love and care. It was incredibly well-equipped with thoughtful utilities which all helped make our stay super special. The bottle of MCC Genevieve was delicious and enjoyed outdoors in that beautiful space. I cannot recommend this establishment more highly.
Pleasant, quiet country setting. Sufficient braai facilities. We really enjoyed the two nights in the Overberg thanks to the comfortable accommodation in the Peacock Cottage. The quiet, rural setting is within convenient driving distance of several family wine farms and Kleinmond. Botrivier was a pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of Genevieve estate sparkling wine and the product is highly recommended.
The beautiful surroundings and wonderful silence away from the hustle and bustle of our every day existence. Here our souls could breathe and we could just relax. The cottages are tastefully furnished and there is everything you need. A delicious cold bottle of MCC was waiting for us in the fridge. We will come again for sure. Genevieve MCC was absolutely perfect for a super comfortable stay whilst doing the 2 day stage race in Houwhoek. Was very close to the venue and was a super soft landing after a hard day's cycling. Definitely above the rest in quality, cleanliness and utilities.
We loved our four nights in Peacock Cottage. The views to forever, the silence, the style and the many thoughtful touches made this a very special short country break. A very well equipped kitchen - yay for dishwasher - and plenty of everything (crockery, cutlery, cookware) made us feel we could move in for a month. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We stayed at Genevieve MCC for 2 nights and I got ready for my wedding there. The cottages are very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The farm environment is also beautiful and there is even a vegetable garden where you can help yourself. Would love to return one day!

Friendly and accommodating host-Melissa. Accommodation is neat, modern, well kept, stylish, tasteful, clean and well furnished. Loved all the personal touches ie. Branded handwash, bodywash, branded cleaning products, good coffee, crockery that was in great condition (ie. not chipped). Loved waking up to the variety of bird sounds in the fresh farm air. Oh and great bed matrass = good nights rest! So easy to find and only 1 hr out of town. Would love to return.
Wow! We arrived there, we got a friendly reception, professional, the house was shown to us and we received a free bottle of champagne which we finished in the first 30 minutes. Now that is how we knew we were going to be treated and enjoyed our stay by the host making everything so welcoming. The house is super. Our friends were so impressed. We had the best one night stay and definitely said we will be back soon in 2021 and staying longer.
This cottage will be the new benchmark against which I measure other destinations. Everything was nice and clean and we really felt that no effort had been spared to make the place feel nice and luxurious. We were very kindly welcomed by Winnie and were surprised with a bottle of Genevieve MCC in the fridge and flowers and a packet of cookies on the table. The farm is peaceful and it is very well located to explore the area further. We will definitely come again.

Modern clean house. Does not have television but otherwise beautiful and fantastic farm environment and scenery. Delicious fresh farm eggs are provided for guests, as well as a free bottle of sparkling wine. Very good location and Kleinmond, Hermanus and Elgin all very close.

Wow wow wow! We have stayed at many places in and around Grabouw/Botrivier/Hermanus, but Genevieve Cottages is now our favourite. It combines the simplicity of farm life with contemporary decor, the perfect combination of simplicity and style. The place is beautifully equipped and you can really just relax, especially if you can only pack the dishwasher after dinner! Good quality kitchen accessories - which you don't find just everywhere. The complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and flat cookies spoiled the men and women. We will definitely go again!
Our host was completely amazing, everything that we needed and more was catered for. I think you should use Genevieve MCC and Farm Cottages as a bench mark for all other establishments. Will definitely frequent any establishment that these guys are managing.
Melissa made us feel very welcome and gave us excellent information on what to do and where to go. I'm keen to visit again. The bird life was well worth another visit. The view from the cottage was lovely, one hardly needed to go out.
Genevieve MCC is truly a peaceful place to live. We were there with children and teenagers so a little far from the beach for them. It's very clean and well equipped with everything you need. We had wonderful conversations and visits on the porch. Will visit again for sure.

Located a stone's throw from the Bot River lies a bird's paradise. The suitor's bench on the veranda overlooking the valley with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine is a pleasure for the soul. Melissa is just warm and provides outstanding personal service. The cottage is large, comfortable, neat and modern. The free bottle of Genevieve MCC in the fridge was top notch!
A renovated chalet with a beautiful view of the farm and all of the facilities that you can think of for a nice getaway on Botrivier's wine route.

We were two families who booked both cottages. We had a very nice stay and could visit again and again, but still enjoy the silence. Melissa went out of her way to make it as convenient as possible for us. It's close to all the attractions and even has a vegetable garden where guests can harvest themselves one of the days. We will definitely go again!
