Was quite an enjoyable stay with all our needs catered to. The restaurant on site also had a wide selection of options available. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with all the basics that we required during our stay.

We stayed here during the Loskop Ultra Marathon. Only 5km from the Forever Resort where the bus pick up point is situated and also where the race finish line is. Friendly and accommodating staff. Safe, secure and affordable accommodation. The breakage deposit was already refunded after the weekend. Overall I would recommend staying here, especially during the marathon.

It was amazing and refreshing.
It wasn't bad, but when I had a problem with the empty LP gas bottle, the owner told me to take a bird bath, and no one came to fix the problem. I did my check-out with still no hot water.
The room we booked was apparently not "made right" as we would only be 2 people. We booked a 2 bedroom place and paid in full ahead of time. Then we had to wait half an hour before unpacking. What is presented in the photos looks nothing like what we got. You could see the location was not deleted. Previous guests' hair was all over the place, so much so that we didn't want to use the drawers they were so dirty. When we wanted to sit down for dinner and an evening of "board games" there were only 2 chairs in the place. I went to ask the hostess for two estra chairs. Sorry to say that she was not very friendly. But we got two dirty chairs. The shower had clearly not been washed in a very long time. The water from the shower head sprays out above the shower and the taped soap dish cannot hold the weight of face soap. The white bedding's brown stains were unfortunately very visible and since one uses white bedding to see stains, it was funny that it was not bleached. And remember, you are paying for the power we were not informed about. Also, don't expect to receive your deposit back too quickly. You just have to ask for it. Be wary of the place, personally I don't think it should be partners.
All is well just worried about 7 units for electricity to use. Rooms don't cater the same number of units. If 4 people are in a room, 7 units are not enough.

The night we got there it was power sharing time. There were not even candles or flashlights in the rooms for guests.

Yay for South Africa, yet another establishment that is doing its best to stay afloat, security is amazing, but Eskom really plays havoc.
*Loadshedding: No rechargable lights. 1 Candle & matches supplied. Lights did not come on after loadshedding. Friday evening 5. 00pm - Saturday morning 11. 30am. Verandah light does not work. Restuarant closed during loadshedding. Owners said generator is not working and waiting for it to be repaired. Business not geared for loadshedding. *Shower - showerhead needs to be replaced. Does not work properly. Water either boiling hot or cold. Cannot be adjust to prefered temp. Water was black in toilet and washbasin taps. * Not recommended for a quite stay. Noise from Restuarant till after 10. 00pm. No consideration for runners after Loskop Marathon who went to bed early but subjected to noise.
Very clean and tidy, had a small problem with the geyser and security gate, but it was sorted out in a flash, received friendly service.
Chalets are very neat. Maintenance is 100%. Steakhouse very good food and atmosphere. Would stay there again anytime.

Near Loskop dam, much to do, nice senenery.
There are no bathmats at all, shower drains were blocked, the beds are so old, if you sit on them they sink in right to the ground. Linen is old and thin, there are no blankets at all. In the bedroom is only a lonely bed, nothing else. This was by far the worst place I ever stayed in. I feel sorry for the great manager, he is a bonus. The kitchen is very unpractical, with broken steel pots! Won't stay there again, paid for 2 nights and stayed 1. The cement floors were not clean and very cold, the curtains are too small to cover the windows. Lounge suite, oh my word, I have no words for tacky.
The staff is definitely well-trained, treated each visitor with respect and friendliness. The food at the Steakhouse was excellent. The entertainment over the week-end well-chosen. The chalet was clean. Instant hot water, clean bedding. A biker's haven.

About 20 min standing and waiting. Had to ask for soap and coffee, they say it's self-catering, but don't provide soap or coffee. Go 2 Chalets was not aware I booked and paid? Handing over the keys in the morning is a frustration. 08:15 als was still closed, no one in sight. Ask for deposit next day. No inventory in relation to no deposit?

Even though there was no electricity, the owner told us that if we use more than 7 units of electricity, we will be charged.
The place is very neat and well taken care of. But we were disappointed with the shower in room 10. 1. The shower tap does not sprinkle, it pours. 2. You cannot set the water temperature, it's either too hot or too cold and if you manage to get the right temperature it's only for a few seconds then you get an extremely cold one.
It was our first time in Loskopdam, a lovely break. Clean chalet with more than enough of everything that was needed.
The reception was very friendly. The place looked nice and the restaurant area. We however did not eat there, since our stay was actually for a show on another farm. We basically just slept there.

The owners looked surprised when I checked. Not sure if the guest I was, was not what they were expecting. The lady kept saying that they don't have my form and I had to fill another one. I was actually not impressed, but since I paid online already, I checked in. No towels in the rooms. No coffee or tea. They can do better.
My husband and I went home for the weekend. The place is adequate and is very clean and tidy. Can recommend it.
Go 2 Chalets is a lovely place to relax and unwind, with friendly and professional management and staff.
They set an alarm in the morning and didn't clean the place. Upon arrival, they first sent someone to clean the place, then also wanted to install the TV. The remote for the air conditioner was not there, the lady sent a worker down to bring a remote, they had to come again that evening to look at the air conditioner would not come on, and only then repaired. I would just like a door to be put on the bathroom for privacy.
The owners who received us, especially the woman, were very unfriendly and unfit first saying we were not checked in, and then later we were. She was very grumpy and we felt very unwelcome. On inspection to get our deposit back she was angry because we didn't wash the 3 cups and 2 glasses we used. For the price we paid for the night I really can't say it's worth it. I would not recommend anyone to spend the night there. Floors were dusty.
From the beginning of the process to the end there were only problems. When checking in the guests I was called to say that they had only received 1 out of 2 of my bookings, so the owner then wanted me to make direct payment (via EFT/card) to him again for the second booking which had already been made paid was on the website. I didn't want to make a further payment at that point, from where he then said he would check the system again soon, then our discussion was off to a good start. After the guests had checked out I was called again, this time by the owner's wife, to inform me that she was "disgusted" with the guests who had checked in and that one of the guests had taken a pillow from one of the rooms "stole". She made the call to me and accused the guest of theft before the room was properly searched and even before she personally went to inspect. It was threatened that it would be deducted from the key deposit fee. After personally inspecting, the pillow came out from under the bed, so the pillow was not "stolen", just moved. During the guests' stay there was also no hot water available.
It's a very cool place and everyone is happy to help if you're looking for something. Would recommend place to anyone.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were a group of 15 who went to play Jukskei at Kranspoort. We are all over 60 and really enjoyed staying at Go 2. We have made it an institution to stay there every year for Jukskeinaweek. Price very affordable and food at their restaurant is delicious!

I was not pleased by the lady receptionist. Receptionists should be able to welcome guest so to feel accepted. We showered with cold water, no sign of any hot water in the shower.

It has been very peaceful there and a swimming pool that is close by and braai area at the chalet will go again anytime. Just take towels with you, otherwise we wouldn't be able to shower.

Nic is very friendly and helpful. It's opposite Kranspoort golf course and suited us wonderfully. Would definitely recommend. We organized a golf weekend at Kranspoort. The Go 2 Chalets were absolutely the best accommodation.
The chalet was comfortable, with all essentials provided.
Very pleasant and neat. The unit's kitchen is somewhat small, but you can work in it. The rest of the unit is spacious (especially the rooms). The location against the road is not ideal, but a lot of effort has been made to block road noise as far as possible. The stay was very pleasant.

Service was not too friendly towards us.
There are a few aspects that should receive attention. The prepaid electricity is problematic and the later deduction on the key and breakage deposit leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Most South African people like to barbecue, but there are no barbecue tongs or something to put the barbecue meat in. There is also a lack of a bread knife and there are no or few serving trays. There is no table to eat at. The accommodation for 4 guests only has 2 outdoor chairs.

Management of resort can feel free to read previous reviews and work on them. Place is very clean and tidy. Just a few suggestions: Please sit. a brighter light in the bathroom. Please hang up a curtain or partition in front of the bathroom door. If someone walks past the chalet they can look in the door and see someone sitting on the toilet. Please sit down big sign up with directions where the chalet part's entrance is. 8 o'clock in the evening it is quite misleading where to go. Please sit down a pickup truck or 2 in the cupboards. There are braai facilities but no utensils. Guests do not always want to eat at the restaurant. Feel free to put a bench between chalets where guests can sit outside and visit each other. Guests do not always want to visit the restaurant.

Go 2 Chalets is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway. Everything was neat and clean. Had a great stay there.
We were received very kindly! The unit was neat. Well equipped. Was calm to sit outside in the evening and grill some meat.
On first impression Hô-Kaai did not disappoint. The food there is good, and the environment relaxing, they hold up to the cosy bush-veld atmosphere. The staff were helpful, going out of their way to accommodate us. As a group we had a good time there, the chalets are well spaced with modern decor. Considering we had a large group booking, well in advanced. the chalets were not prepped for our arrival. The water heaters were not turned on, and DStv not working, some towels were not stocked in the rooms. The staff did well at helping us see to these problems. The resort is still half a building site, with new chalets going up. They did well at keeping things well presented. That being said the chalets we occupied, felt incomplete. with a lack of doors on the bathrooms, and broken bathroom doors where there were doors, Privacy in the chalets were poor. Poor quality beds were reported among'st the members of the group. Best wishes to Hô-Kaai, keep growing.
My negative about my stay would be that upon arrival their record showed that I was still 50% outstanding even though I had paid it a month before. I wasn't shown to my unit either, I was shown where it was and was told that the key was in the door. I had to ask where to park. Other guests, that I could see, did not experience the same. Other than the negative, my stay was fantastic and the unit was lovely to stay in. I will definitely return next year.
This is the worst place I've ever been at home. No customer service, no water in the bathroom sink, no barbecue, no soap to wash the dishes, the room was not serviced, the staff didn't know about us, the resort is right next to a main road located which is not defined as such in the advertisement etc etc. It was so unpleasant that I returned home on Saturday.

Only thing they need is activities for teenagers. My kids were a little bored. Luckily we took outdoor games with, so they had fun. Maybe create a place to play tennis or basket ball, or anything else that they can play with outside. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely go back.

We had lots of time with friends. This is a place to visit again.
We booked 2 cottages. In the end, the 3 people were put in one house. Hô-Kaai Bistro has a new owner, they have learned. At reception, the man who received them did not expect them and different houses were shown to them. No bath mats, no safety glass in bathroom windows. Electric kettle is on the stove. Als was half confused. They also learned that there would be a function on Saturday and the management was more focused on that. Ladies couldn't do their hair because there is no mirror near wall plug. They then asked for an extension cord because they had a course on Wednesday at Forever Loskop.
Enjoyed it so much. I'd recommend it to anyone that's looking for tranquility.

It's a nice place to stay, but the following was an issue for us: No one was there to welcome us, no one came to ask if everything was fine, they have a braai but don't provide a braai tong, and the shower was either too hot or too cold, you couldn't set it in the middle. Small things that are not paid attention to.
We will definitely go back. Staff and owners were so friendly and treated us like family.
We were kindly received on arrival and given a 4 sleeper unit instead. A 2 sleeper. The unit needed a good cleaning as there was dust on windowsills and in the bathroom and the barbecue was still greasy. There were also no cushions on the rattan lounge set and we had to take cushions from the bed to sit on. There were only the basics in the unit and the unit for us lacked things like wine glasses and bedside lamps. At least there were quite a few DStv channels.
