The host was extremely helpful and friendly, and the home was clean, with big windows flooding the home with light and stunning views outside! We found the place peaceful and were able to rest well in the quiet and tranquil area.
Everything was perfect, the view and porch steal your heart. We would love to visit again.
Well located was beautiful, spacious and equipped with everything we could have needed. From washing machine to load shedding gently. The silence and the view from the porch were highlights for our weekend. We arrived late and found the house with outside lights on and lights on in the house. What was a plus was that there was no need to turn on cell phone lights to climb the stairs and get the front door locked.
The stay was amazing. Pictures do not do the house justice. It was an amazing surprise to see it in person. And the stay was relaxing and peaceful. Perfect place to get a little rest for your soul.

We had a very nice stay in this sandstone house with the most delightful patio. The house has all the necessary facilities and is very tidy. The house is ideally located on the edge of town and within walking distance of Meiringskloof. The town of Fouriesburg stole our hearts - it's so much quieter than Clarens, but still there is so much to do and see in the area.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to find quality accommodation at affordable rates. Conveniently located is such a place. The house is beautiful and neat, it feels as if everything is as you would have wanted it yourself. Just a few words of advice: The garage does not have a back door. If the power were to go out you could potentially have a problem if your car is locked inside unless the garage door motor has a working 'back-up' battery. The roads to Fouriesburg from the south and east are impassable. Use the N5 if you are coming from the direction of the N1, or the R714 via Warden/Bethlehem, or Harrismith to Clarens. We took a long detour via the N5 from Bloemfontein, but it was worth it. To sum up, we would love to stay a week at Goegelege. It's on the edge of the village and in a good section. You find rest for your soul there. The cleanliness and quality of everything in the house is remarkable.
Here is everything and more you need to have a great stay. It's very neat and clean and we would recommend it anytime and would definitely visit again. The home-baked rusk is a bonus!

The house looked exactly as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised to also get tea, coffee, sugar, milk and the most delicious biscuits. We only stayed one night but would definitely go back again for a longer period. The house really has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located is exactly what the name suggests. In addition, the house is spacious and very well maintained. The view of the mountains is incredibly beautiful. Suzan made sure that extra request was carried out and confirmed before our arrival. Thanks also to Rina who helps look after the unit and questions about the environment and provided a contact's info for a day trip to the Katse dam in Lesotho. The lady who cleans the unit was considerate and insisted on waiting outside the unit as we left. Would recommend Conveniently any time.

The original booking and finalisation of the stay only took about 15 minutes. Everything was confirmed with emails the next morning and we knew exactly where to go. Upon our arrival we were really impressed and everything we expected, and more, was available. The dirt track there was originally a concern, but my "flat" car had no problems. The view from home is wonderful. Furthermore, our trips to Lesotho and the local hiking trails were very nice and easy to get to. Thank you also Suzan and Rina for your trouble with the laptop I forgot there. Really had a pleasant stay and what we thought was an old house, was then a new and recently built house.
Conveniently located and is a lovely residential unit in Fouriesburg. The unit is wonderfully spacious and very well furnished. The service was great and also very close to Lesotho's border, as well as Clarens. Definitely value for money.

This is a beautiful well-maintained house with everything needed for a self-catering stay. We arrived on Friday afternoon and had a planned trip to Lesotho leaving early on Saturday morning. We were under the impression that the house would be serviced on Saturday but when we got back from our trip to Lesotho, nobody had been there to service the house.
The house is very neat and fully equipped, beautiful garden.

It met all our expectations and more! We arrived late afternoon in the middle of winter and Rina had already turned on the heaters when we checked in. Nicely equipped with everything we needed. Everything nice clean and tidy. We will definitely stay there again if we go in that direction.
We struggled to find it since it's a new area and all the street names are not yet visible. The owner wasn't home himself so we had to phone the neighbour find locate the key. The directions to the place not very clear. Beds were comfortable and we could rest well before continuing our journey home the next day.
Recommended at all times. We were kept up to date with everything to make sure everything is in its place. Thank you for all of the calls, sms's and emails.

We loved our stay and were pleased with the little extra's like rusks. The rooms were so comfy and warm with fluffy towels and great clean linen. The only product that was not great was the toilet paper. I would suggest people take their own loo rolls as that was the only thing that was of the lowest single ply range. We also really like the customer care and care taker, but found her just walking right in without prior warning or knocking a bit invasive and that could be the only reason we may not go back. My suggestion would be to phone or message first before just popping right in. Letting yourself in the gate and right through the door without asking first is rather rude. Otherwise beautifully placed, furnished and looked after. Many thanks!
If you are looking for a quiet place in nature for a getaway weekend, this is the ideal place for a family or group of friends. The house is comfortable with ample space and a lovely big patio to sit and enjoy the lovely view of the mountains. There is a fireplace in the living area and wood is provided for the colder months. This is the perfect place for people with quad bikes to ride and explore the mountains. Clarens is only a short drive away for shopping or a visit to one of the many pubs and restaurants.

The house is very neat and well equipped and the caretakers fantastically helpful. The beds have good quality white cotton linen and electric blankets. The kitchen has everything needed. One master bedroom with en suite (bath, shower and toilet), second bedroom with double bed, third bedroom with 2 single beds, separate toilet, separate shower. Lounge, veranda with view and braai. Ideal place to use as a base for day trips to Clarens and Afri-Ski (about 90 km) in Lesotho.

It's really a beautiful self-catering home with enough room for 6 people to socialize comfortably together. The caretakers are friendly and available when needed. We already needed them early on the Saturday morning when all the garden chairs were locked up and there was no key for us to unlock it ourselves. At the same time we found the gas stove without gas - there was fortunately an extra bottle locked in the garage and caretaker could help us out. The view from the veranda during a late morning breakfast, however, made up for it. If we stay in Fouriesburg again, it will definitely be here. A tip - bring your own wood for the fireplace if you want to stay indoors in the evening.
