Beautiful cottage with a lovely fireplace for the winter and a swimming pool for the summer. Huisie has nice cookies, biscuits and a little butter in the fridge. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar and lovely attention to detail offer a wonderful visiting opportunity. Thank you very much.
Extraordinary wind and rain showers in Franschhoek meant that our weekend went differently than planned. However, the fireplace, bath, wine and other snacks provided by Marlicia were a wonderful comfort, and made us still enjoy the two days very much. The uninterrupted power supply was an added bonus. We were extremely satisfied with the stay and the service.
The photos were an accurate representation of the accommodation. The hostess was very accommodating and the rooms very comfortable. The house is spacious and the fireplaces ensure a nice cozy atmosphere!

The owner, Marlicia, received us kindly and even late at night she was available to come and help us. The residence is located in a safe area and within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. The house is equipped with everything needed with enough biscuits, coffee, tea, and milk and even received a complimentary bottle of wine. Enough firewood for fireplace and barbecue. Will definitely stay here again.

The special attention of esktra spoils was noticeable and special. She also gave us valuable information about what to do and where to eat in Franschhoek. We would definitely recommend Grande Plaisir and can't wait to visit again!

Grande Plaisit is a very cosy place and Marlicia, the hostess's, treats were much appreciated. Definitely good value for money.
One of the best places to stay we have stayed in a long time. Marlicia's communication in advance and the way she received and welcomed us is testament to professionalism. We were particularly impressed with the facilities in the cottage, as well as the neat and tasteful way in which it was furnished. There really is everything one could need - and more. Thank you very much, Marlicia, for the butter, milk and green figs in the fridge - and especially for the bottle of red wine. It was a winner!

Stunning place operated by friendly people. They make you feel at home immdediately. The unit was probably revamped not long ago and is in perfect condition. Beautiful and luxurious. You even get rusks, sherry, and a bottle of red when you arrive! Everything was very nice.
Grande Plaisir is brand new and a lot of effort has gone into making the place beautiful and functional. The accommodation is of high quality. Everything is neat and the place is well laid out. The rooms and bathrooms are massively large, luxurious, clean and tidy and were kept that way throughout our stay. The kitchen has everything one needs and more. The living room has a fireplace that makes the place warm and cozy. There is also a nice braai area with swimming pool outside. The people are also very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for more! Can not wait!
