Great to have found this place, not too far from the village centre and close enough to major roads to get in and out. Cheryl and her team are super friendly and made me feel right at home. The house is practically off-the-grid with a PV inverter system for beating the rolling blackouts and water fed and treated from a fresh stream flowing through the garden. WiFi is fast and reliable but best of all was the breakfast.
Warm and friendly welcome. Room was comfortable with fridge, microwave, kettle and DStv and WiFi. Bathroom nice and clean and lots of space. They have solar, loadshedding is not a problem. Shops and eateries located nearby. Thank you Cheryl.
It was dusk when I arrived and couldn't see too much of the accommodation as a whole. Inside the room are all necessary facilities, hairdryer, small microwave, small fridge and coffee and tea station. The bathroom is newly done and very comfortable. The whole feel of the house is 'rustic' which suits me ideally. All in good, working condition. The hostess is very nice and hospitable. I would love to stay at Grassroots again.

The owner was amazing and made us feel very comfortable immediately. It was well peaceful and we did not get disturbed at all. In face we think that the owner went above and beyond what we paid for. Would definitely recommend, and will probably go back.

It's an exceptionally beautiful place with very friendly service and company.
I will stay here again if I travel for work. The accommodation is tidy, staff helpful and parking convenient. There are restaurants and shops nearby if you need to eat out, but my room also had a kettle, small fridge and microwave.
