Great place to stay. The host was very accommodating. Spacious room which was neat and tidy.

Very nice and peaceful environment.
It is a pity that the rooms do not offer a view, and the public meeting area is a courtyard. If you are in Kaapschehoop, you will want to see the beautiful surroundings.

We decided to have a weekend away before school started again and this was really perfect. Rooms are spacious and nice and warm. Beds sleep like a dream. Everything one needs was there. Nikke welcomed us and kindly pointed out everything such as e.g. there was a market on in Kaapschehoop at the weekend and we enjoyed it. We also went for a walk to the very beautiful views that the hiking trails offer. Everything is walking distance.
We took our two granddaughters with us at short notice and they really enjoyed the time with us.

I would recommend this guest house to all my friends and family.
It would be nice to have a mirror by a power plug to blow your hair, in our room there was a mirror but no power plug close to the mirror. Also has generator as loadshedding and light work which was nice.
The coffee cup was just dirty and there were burn marks on the floor.

We were in town all day. Walked around and did the hiking trails. We mostly ate at Bohemian Groove Cafe, their food is amazing and the owners are very friendly and helpful. In the evenings we quietly watched TV in the guest house.
On the recommendation of the owner of Green Venus we ate at the Bohemian Groove cafe. Excellent recommendation. Both accommodation and food were excellent.
The guest house was quiet and tidy.
The bedroom was small but perfectly adequate for our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bedding was awesome and the pillows are the best I have experienced in SA. Breakfast was lovely as were the horses that came to visit in the morning.

Just right for a single person. Fairly close to restaurants and bars. Walking distance. Meals can be arranged if you wish.
The guest house is within walking distance of restaurants and also very close to the start of the footpath to the escarpment's viewpoint. Delicious buffet breakfast in the morning.

We slept great. The sherry in the room was a hit in the cold. Will book there again. We took the footpath and it was really very beautiful. We went to eat at Salvador Restaurant. Delicious pizza and great service.
It was very cold when we were there. After we went to eat and were back at our room, they left us a sherry and 2 glasses. It was such a nice treat against the cold! Excellent service and friendly people.

Green Venus has not been open for long but very neat, clean and any questions/needs are sorted out immediately.
Wonderful reception. Expected us and immediately took us to our room. Very clean and comfortable. Parking is an open car park right in front of the Guest House but the area is quite safe. The pillows are quite hard but others were available. Breakfast was wonderful and very warmly served by the hostess. Wow, I'm definitely sleeping there again.
Poor value for money. The drain in the shower did not drain properly and smelled.

The place is central, beautifully furnished and our room (Jim's Gold) of high quality. It was a great treat to have dinner there. Nicely prepared and tasty. We could have a nice walk around the village before dinner. There are beautiful houses and the horses roam the streets. Very highly recommended.
