We waited more than 5 minutes outside the gate after calling many times. The staff hold their own parties on the premises, not professional at all, the place needs a clean, genuine overpriced, will never sleep there again.
Place is very neat and clean. People are very friendly and helpful.
Customer service could improve.
Plus point is the lamp and TV that stay on during power outages.

Stains on sheets. Shower head stained and blocked. Toilet seat damaged. Coffee and tea poor quality. Not worth the high rates.
There is a lack of provision for eskom's perpetual load shedding.
It would have been nice if there was a hair dryer. I also think they could have put more soap and shampoo for 2 guests in the room. Other than that, everything was fine.
Although it was B&B, no breakfast was served.
Welcome was unprofessional in terms of camera direction. No one asked if we were interested in breakfast.
The only problem is that there was no milk for coffee the next morning. We appreciate that the owner allowed us to check in at 11 o'clock in the evening and that she welcomed us.
We were taken through the door to our room past one of the groups, not a single person wearing a mask. Our room was not locked and when we got into the room a lady from the other group was in our room's kitchen eating some of the food she had put in our fridge.
We were a bit disappointed that there was no breakfast. We expected to be able to watch TV but there was no DStv. We already have two flea bites after one night.

Guesthouse Serenity is a great guest house to stay in the Harties area. The owners went out of their way to make our stay easy and to make sure our needs were taken care of. Rooms were nice and big, neat and very clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Wonderful hospitable people who make you feel at home. Very clean, spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend it and sleep over again.
