6 guests' feedbackThe Halfway House is about 1.5 km from the bar and feels completely remote. The view is absolutely beautiful. The house is basic but has everything you need. Good value for money considering the location. Only slight annoyance were the farm dogs that barked for most of the night, sound travels! But will definitely return.

Value for money can be different if it is a family or friends of 4-6, and you only stay for the evening. We only had half a roll of toilet paper for 2 days, only 1 large bath towel, and 2 small towels. The pan available was low quality and badly burnt by previous guests and not sanded clean. There is not a single wine glass in the beautiful house, only soda glasses. The indoor braai has a problem with the extraction of smoke when the wind blows, because there is no cock on the chimney. We smoked out of the house 2 nights in July, and mentioned it to Jubert, but without any response. This little place has the potential to become a gem, but someone with a passion for the traveler/vacationer's needs should keep an eye on this place.
Neat and comfortable accommodation with a fantastic view over the plains.
The accommodation was neat and clean. The facilities were adequate. I recommend putting a mirror in the bathroom and there were no towels. We will stay there again.
