Each of the units also has a TV with DStv and is air-conditioned. The original Stone Cottage consists of two comfortable bedrooms with double beds. The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and offers an open-plan kitchen with a fridge-freezer, a three-plate stove, a microwave oven, a toaster and a kettle. All pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are provided.
The two Log Cabins are proving to be very popular with our guests. Both units are fully equipped for self-catering, including a fridge, freezer, electric stove, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
Numerous antelope species including kudu, nyala, impala, klipspringer and duiker are present in abundance and bird life is prolific. A myriad of farm roads is available for birders, hikers and mountain bikers to enjoy. Freshwater fishing is possible in the dam on a catch and release basis, and there is a peddle-boat available that can seat four people.

Have stayed here a few times and can recommend it to anyone. The total stay experience is exactly what my family and I need, the service is excellent, and the facilities are impeccable.
What a gem! The stone cottage is a real forest cottage. Between birdsong and nyalas and blesboks that come to visit, our batteries are properly recharged. The cottage is comfortably furnished. We will definitely visit again!

The guest house is nicely secluded, with lots of wildlife roaming around in front of the guest house: nyala, kudus, etc. The guest house is wonderfully quiet and tidy. Can definitely recommend it.
It was lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds and nature in the lovely Stone Cottage. Hezekiah is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. There is a beautiful dam, lots of birdlife, and buck grazing peacefully. It is our second time at Hezekiah and we hope to be back again.

Fairly close to town (15km). Nice to watch the birdlife and nyala around the dam. Good to see klipspringer, nyala and wildebeest on our drive in. Close enough to do day drives to the many attractions around the area.

If you can listen for an osprey during the day and an owl at night, your weekend in the field was good.
We drove through 1 day to the wildlife park, but could have just as well stayed on the farm instead. It is a very peaceful environment, typically farm. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. Just remember, this is not 5 star accommodation, but if you like the type of accommodation in the game park, this will be perfect.

Henk was available on call at any time of any day and we weren't bothered by any people during our stay, it was one of the most peaceful and relaxing stays I have had so far.
We stayed in wooden house two. The house is between nice trees with a nice view of the pond. The security is excellent with an alarm system and even a can of pepper spray on the wall. It is nicely secluded and nice and private with an open braai area. If the sun is hot, the air conditioning has to work quite hard to beat the sun. It would be a good idea to turn on the air conditioner early on a hot day. There is a boat with an oar that probably about four people can ride at the same time. As for animals, we saw Njalas, blue monkeys and night monkeys. If you like adventure you can climb up the hills, get a nice view and discover some small caves. (Watch out for the stinging nettles) Thank you we had a nice honeymoon here.

Friendly reception, beautiful houses, very clean. Difficult to find, especially from Hoedspruit or Nelspruit. Explanation from Johannesburg is also not clear and signage to the entrance gate is missing.

The different chalets are far enough apart that everyone feels as if you are alone on the farm. We have walked the hiking trail to granite dome several times as a family. The pond with rowing boat and rope swings was great fun for the children. The farm is just less than 2 km from the N4, therefore accessible.
It is always peaceful and nice in the forest and at the pond. Enjoy it.
The road to the farm is very bad. It would help a lot if the holes could be filled with gravel.

We would like to thank Henk very much for the wonderful time with them! We would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great time around the fire in the evening with the view of the pond and the birds frolicking in the trees! Had a wonderful walk around the farm and even climbed the hills to see even better. The cottage was well equipped and we didn't need to ask for anything! The outside showers a delicious treat. Then of course the icing on the cake - the nyala is definitely something to behold. We were privileged to see them come in at feeding time. You can be really proud, Henk - wow, they are beautiful! Will definitely be stopping by Hezekiah again to recharge our batteries as soon as we can get away again!
The log cabin next to the dam has a breathtaking view. It's quiet, tranquil and very safe. It's a beautiful area and feels like being in a different world. The owner is very friendly and came to make sure we were safe. I simply just have to go again.

My husband and I left Krugersdorp early on Friday morning, the 30th June 2017. We were just too excited to get away for the weekend, which meant we were a bit earlier than the given arrival time at Hezekiah Game Farm. We just say back, it's really a splendid little place. Will definitely go there again. The name Hezekiah means 'Whom God has strengthened'. It was the first thing that attracted us to this place when we were looking for a place to stay and when we left our unit to wander around the farm, our eyes immediately caught the cross. It was then a confirmation that we are in the right place. Henk and his family can be proud of their splendid little place and thanks again for letting us rest here for a day or two.

Had a lovely stay. Nice and relaxing. Facilities adequate and excellently maintained and clean. Henk, the contact person is very kind and puts the guests needs first. Initially we had a problem with the air conditioning. Brought it to Henk attention and he immediately went to work to fix it. Excellent service. Location is a bit far, 81 km from the KNP and other sights.
Fabulous overnight stay. Would recommend as a base for exploring the area. Accommodation was everything we needed and more. We especially loved the rustic feel. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time. Great getaway place when peace, quiet and fishing is what you are looking for. Both my husband and I had a well-deserved rest.
Once again, a beautiful place. The nature around this unique house wasn't harmed during its construction. The outside shower was a big attraction for granddad and our two sons. Henk is a pleasant, caring person. Would definitely stay over again.
The road to the house is a little rough. I recommend a car with high clearance (but a normal car will make it). We just didn't have enough time to walk/drive around. The place looks good and if it rains a little more it will be even better, there is a nice picnic area by the dam and a lookout point for the early riser. Will definitely recommend it and visit again when we have more time.
All of the arrangement went smoothly. When we reached the gate, we couldn't enter immediately and had to contact the establishment for a security code to open the gate, but cell phone reception was a problem. We were, however, very satisfied with Stone Cottage. I would recommend that the fridge be switched on ahead of time. Our stay was very pleasant. The house is some way away from everything and therefore very private. We could sit outside and socialise around the fire.

Enjoyed it a lot ─ especially the scenery and the pond for fishing, and we just had a peaceful time. Nelspruit is also very close, so if you need anything, it is very close. Would go back to Hezekiah again anytime. The wooden house is very neat and clean and everything you need in a kitchen is there.

What a lovely place just outside of Nelspruit. We could only stay one night and it was far too short. We will go back for more. Just the place for a getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We would like to go back in the summer to test out that outdoor shower at Stone Cottage. It was ideal for the two of us and had everything we could want. We enjoyed the peace and quiet so much and didn't even watch TV.

Very relaxed place and very good value for money. If you just want to relax this place is perfect. I would recommend maps and pamphlets about affordable eateries close to the river. Water is a bit brackish so you could bring your own drinking water. The hot water in the shower made a difference and it felt good to stay in such a nice place. Maybe alos provide GPS coordinates. A last note to indicate the specific hut (there is more than one) would also help. Next time we will book a place close to the water. The antelope was lovely! Thanks Henk and family for an affordable weekend!

Everyone complains about the road being bad but it is a farm road and actually in very good condition for one. We loved the layout and that we felt like we were completely on our own in the forest, even though there were other houses on the land. It is wonderfully quiet and relaxing and you don't need to drive around to do things as there is a lot to do on the farm. I would go back anytime and have a good rest again.
Best vacation in a long time. In the bush and quiet and away from the city. Henk was very hospitable. We caught great fish. Can recommend Hezekiah to anyone. Beautiful wildlife. Will visit Hezekiah again for sure.

It was very hot when we arrived and I would recommend turning on the air conditioning before guests arrive. Otherwise we really enjoyed it. It was very peaceful and we just put the "pedal boat" on the water late in the afternoon and quickly caught and released 2 bass. Later we lit the fire and relaxed while a dear-my-wife called loudly, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The road is a bit bad and the furniture in the house really old. The Photo on the ad does not look like it is in reality, but the nature is very beautiful.
The stay was wonderful and we were so relaxed. The view from the cottage was very beautiful and the owner, Henkel, was very friendly - we even took to see when he was feeding the antelopes. Our stay at Hezekiah's was truly one of the best weekends away. The place is close to everything and just far enough to feel you are away from all the noise.
Our group stayed in the "Stone Cottage" and the "Log Cabin 1" next to the pond. "Stone Cottage" in particular is very well equipped, located under large shade trees with a nice view over the pond. The "log cabin" was on the warm side but the air conditioning helped. The farm is conveniently close to Nelspruit but one feels as if you are far away in the forest. The road is not very nice, but we could drive it with a VW Touran.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful wooden house with enough luxuries to make you feel like a king. The wonderful nature and effort that Henk and his team made to preserve the nature around the cottages, that we only found out much later how close we really are to the main house! A wealth of bird life, the Njala's and impalas passing by on our doorstep. Everything contributed to a wonderful rest and relaxation time at Hezekiah's. Thank you very much again! We will be back again soon!
We were spoiled with the following while visiting the stone cottage: outdoor bathroom with hot water, campfire every evening, the scent of orange blossoms, a frog singing every evening, close to Nelspruit and Wildlife Park, Henk's hospitality.
The house is far from the other houses. Everything was convenient. Air conditioning, nice barbecue place with everything you need to relax. For those who want to do nothing and hear nothing but nature sounds, this is the right place. You really don't need a 4x4 to get to your destination.
Private; restful; beautiful scenery; well equipped; neat stone house...it was truly the answer to a quick break from the hustle and bustle!
