Very nice stay. Our dogs also really enjoyed the lawn and spacious yard. It was very nice and peaceful after a long journey! Would love to stay here again in the future!

My wife and I and our three adult children recently spent the night here. The house is very nice and cozy and the bed my wife and I slept on was wonderful. However, the owner has rented one of the rooms, which leads directly from one of the three bedrooms we rented, to another group of people. There were at least three adults and two children who, I think, all slept over in the fourth bedroom. After I first had to go and ask them to be quiet because we want to sleep, they started chain smoking in the house and the smoke entered the room where my daughter was sleeping through the bottom of the door and she had to cover her head and try to sleep with the strong smell of smoke in her room. I don't think the house lends itself to accommodating two groups of people and I can't believe that people are allowed to smoke in the house, no smoking signs. The shower's hot water tap did not work and we had to take a cold shower. Several of the other cranes also struggled.
House and furniture are old. Room was neat and clean. Garden is beautiful.

It is clean and safe. Nice bedding, but the bathroom that's shared by everyone is inconvenient. A few taps was leaking which is unacceptable with the current water crisis. The shower in the bath was uncomfortable and aggravated by a tap that was leaking and making the floor wet.

Neat old house in town.
Very nice stay. All that bothers me is that there are no security gates/bars in front of stalls and doors.
Host very friendly and room very neat and clean. Unfortunately not much to do on site, just rooms. The rooms are only provided with stand alone fans which do not really help with extreme heat in Bethulie which made stay uncomfortable.
We enjoyed our one-night stay, although we had to go in search of the Gariep Dam. The website picture promises wonderful views - we think this should be changed. However, the house if well equipped and spotlessly clean.
The profile photo misleading. We searched for the house in the direction of the dam. The couple worked hard on the house, hopefully the yard will be next.
