The different levels of living units and rooms are very uncomfortable, especially since I was sick and not mobile. They also have no DSTV as advertised.
Rooms are very neat and spacious. Was kindly received and Lauren was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was perfect except that they turn off the aircons during the day (it was terribly hot, about 32°). Even if we could cool off in the pool, it was unacceptable to me. However, I called Lauren during the day and asked them to turn on the aircon - which she did within 30 minutes.
We really enjoyed our stay. The units were clean and tidy and cleaned every day. The only negative I can give is that the air conditioner is set to go off at 7h00 in the mornings. The rooms heat up very quickly, and one is forced to leave as soon as possible because it becomes unbearably hot without air conditioning.

I had a great stay at Hilltop Guesthouse. The room was very neat and clean and the view was amazing.
Although we stayed only 1 night, the room was nice and clean. Service was outstanding and the owners / representatives were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again should we be in the vicinity of Bellville.

We had a great stay, the view is breathtaking, especially in the evening! The place is beautiful, but our time was too short to make use of everything on the premises, e.g. the swimming pool.

During our journey there, we called for directions and upon our arrival we were warmly received. Again we were directed to places to eat that are the best. The accommodation is very neat and tastefully laid out. It is a very peaceful environment, even though you are in the city. It is also very centrally located if one wants to be in that part of the city and it is also close enough to the city center and Waterfront. I would recommend it to any person.
First day had problem with WiFi in room. Sorted out the next morning though. I think that air conditioning is almost non-negotiable at certain times of the year. Hilltop should preferably invest in this before I go there again in the summer. But still beautiful accommodation and lovely outdoor area.
The guest house is extremely centrally located with a beautiful view of the Tyger Valley. This guest house is definitely recommendable.

Would have preferred just an aircon. Other than that, everything was very good. A tasty breakfast is included!
Parking a bit tight and due to slope difficult to get luggage to and from the room.
Stunning view, excellent breakfast, most convenient.
I wasn't aware it was only a 3 star. (didn't look closely) No Internet in the rooms, No Aircon, No Warm Blankets even though it was REALLY cold in the Cape. The Parking is VERY steep. WELL The view is REALLY beautiful Breakfast is excellent Clean and friendly service
