We have a Solar/inverter system which keeps the lights, water supply and WiFi on.
There are 4 bedrooms in total. Room 1,2, and 3 are fitted with twin beds and Room 4 is a family room with a queen-size bed and twin beds. All rooms have coffee making facilities, their own bathrooms, TVs, fridges in 3 of the rooms and balconies with lovely views in 2 of the rooms. There is a magnificent air-conditioned bar and lounge area with a large TV, DVD player, pool table and darts board, making this venue ideal for larger groups.
In addition, there is a small tea lounge with a little balcony. For the warm summer days, there is also a lovely pool area and a magnificent sundeck as well as a boma with braai facilities.
A full breakfast consisting of cereals, yoghurt, toast, fruit, coffee, tea and fruit juice as a self-service is served, plus a full cooked breakfast served to guests in the sunny dining area, or out on the sundeck.

22 guests' feedbackI had a very nice stay. The service in general was very good and breakfast held up well for the busy days. One outstanding feature of this lodge was that I could relax in peace. It's honestly been a home away from home this week.
I really recommend it. The owners are friendly and polite.
George and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Lovely area close to the hospital and shopping centre. Easy to find. Will stay there again in the future.
The stairs from the parking are dangerous, they need to be repaired. We are Father and Daughter and the room had 2 single beds together, which we had to move around. We weren't aware that we would have a communal bathroom. There are dogs living there, we like dogs but not at the breakfast table. All around we felt quite comfortable for 2 nights.
It was a great stay. I was only there in the evenings and mornings because I was in the area for work, but the place is perfect. It is nice and quiet, so you can sleep and do your work with no interference.
Please note there is no aircorn or fan in the room.

Everything was fine, just would have expected more coffee and milk for the coffee. Cremora doesn't do the trick.
It's safe and also convenient to the nearby shopping centre.
Dirty kettle. We were sceptical of their linen and towels and therefore didn’t use it. We got extra blankets from family. We couldn’t eat their breakfast. The stay with them was uncomfortable therefore we stayed away and only came back to sleep in the early hours of the morning and left as soon as we had showered. We would not stay there again. Unwelcoming, dirty. Staff and owner not wearing masks. No sanitizer. I’m not even sure if the rooms were sanitized after the previous guests.

Although we only slept there one night, the reception was very friendly and helpful. The amenities met our needs. Will definitely use it again.
The accommodation was comfortable and pleasant, but large dogs were allowed in the house and in the room next door. The dogs also swam in the pool. We didn't like it and it may put some guests off.
