Sit asb. floating shelves in badkamer.
Was nice and quiet and had a nice stay.
Just 1 day business visit, only stayed the 1 night, just slept over, didn't visit, didn't get a chance to see the place properly, but very nice estate and buildings. The room is functional with everything you could ask for or need. Very good service and communication for check-in process. would definitely love to stay here again for next visit.

Such a beautiful estate and the rooms were spotless and the staff so accommodating. If only their coffee shop and breakfast were available on the weekend, we would have paid for breakfast for our group. Really my only complaint which really isn't a deterrent to going back there to stay again and again.
Water is a problem as indicated with load shedding. Room definitely needs a window as it was very hot. There should be someone on duty at the gate when there is a wedding.
Nice stay, just had no service. No one to welcome us. Were the only guests, no one to make up the room. Also no coffee in the room.

Room 1 we stayed in had a terrible musty smell and bathroom a sewage smell. Due to layout of room there are no windows ie no draft to obtain proper ventilation. Room 2 was perfect though. Hoogenid is very well located and I would stay there again, but not in room 1.
The place was perfect for a getaway from everything and everyone. It was so peaceful. Exactly what I needed.
It is a beautiful setting and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately there was no service on Friday and Saturday, but the price made up for it.

Would have liked an air conditioner in the room. The small fan that was there didn't help and the room didn't have any windows either.
A lot of effort has been made with safety given the location. Office hours make it difficult to meet any staff for check-in. However, this was not a problem. WiFi signal was strong but the internet was intermittent, sometimes for long periods of time. An aircon would have made the stay much more comfortable. The way the rooms are laid out makes it difficult for rooms to cool down. Room 1, 2, 3.

I booked Hoogeind because it was on route to Hermanus and only 30 minutes from the airport, so I could still arrive just before it got dark. I would recommend it to anyone doing the same as me. The only negative was that if the power goes, so does the water! You are warned, but I was lucky there was no loadshedding, but it wouldn't have been a good experience if there was no electricity and no water.
Unfortunately they started cutting the grass early in the morning which was terribly noisy. The gentleman cutting the grass was so rude. He couldn't wait for us to just put our luggage in the car. He kept on cutting the grass close to us which leaded to us and our luggage being full of dust.
The manager waited for me as I was a bit late. I found that very helpful. Will definitely recommend the establishment. Thank you.

Amazing view and friendly staff, the manor is gorgeous. 10/10 would stay again.
Our stay was very pleasant. The power outage was inconvenient. Extremely many flies and mosquitoes. They can set traps for flies outside and mosquito nets. There is no air conditioning or fans, so we had to open the windows at the cottages for ventilation. The rooms at the venue very neat and well equipped.

Just nothing to write home about. No view. Cottage hidden behind other staff houses in the corner of a large premises. No TV. Many flies. Barking dog at room windows. Safety was a top priority.
