Very well equipped with more than you need. Just need to bring your food and drink. Peaceful farm atmosphere. As a family we had a great time relaxing and frolicking in the pool. We really enjoyed fruit picking and also appreciated the market under the tree. Very cute.

Very nice stay! Cottage is well furnished, large shower, nice porch and we really enjoyed the "hot water tub".
Friendliest reception with fresh orange juice waiting in the fridge to marshmallows for your hot chocolate, with a picturesque view from the hot tub it really borders on my perception of heaven. It's a working farm and farm sounds will be there, but between the trees, mountains and a small fire that burns it soon disappears. Had a very nice 2 days, sun shine or rain, definitely worth it.
I wish owners of guest places/cottages, go and stay for a weekend in their own place. Only then will they realize what the shortcomings are. Beautiful shower, no water pressure, sparse drops of water, difficulty getting wet or washing hair. Only 2 bath towels, no face towel. Braai facilities: no casserole or hot dish cloths. Many flies, will help if there is an automatic spray can in cottage.
Hoogwater Cottage is beautiful accommodation in a very beautiful part of our country. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and sat and visited until late in the evening. Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend.

We had a nice stay for a weekend, it is peaceful and beautiful. Everything was neat and clean, but the price might be a bit high.
We had a wonderful stay, slept and visited at Hoogwater... especially in the Jacuzzi outside... beautiful clean and tidy place and hosts very hospitable. Will definitely visit them again. They are highly recommended.
On arrival we were met by Madri - what a lovely person, much younger than I expected. She told us that we should feel free to wander in the orchards and pick fruit as we felt the need to. We actually stayed over the weekend to do the advertised fig picking on the Saturday. She said we could pick on the Monday to take home, so doing avoiding the crowds on the Saturday. We were left to do our thing but we welcomed her popping in to chat (on the patio at dusk). My (young) grandson enjoyed the freedom of playing in the fresh air and taking his parents for walks.
Very nice, neat and clean! Well equipped with the exception of one item, a hot plate... electric or gas would have been so much easier! There were quite a lot of flies too. Otherwise, no complaints, it was peaceful, we could just switch off and rest.
