The area is famous for its “champagne” air and the abundance of Southern Right Whales spotted off the shore in season. Anyone who has spent time in Onrus will agree that its prime attraction is the white sandy beach where one can enjoy beach games, sun tanning, swimming, surfing, and whale watching between June and December. Crayfish diving, with a permit, can be enjoyed in Onrus, as well as golfing at Hermanus Golf Club or Arabella Golf Course, and exploring historic attractions such as Hermanus’ Old Harbour. We have a brand new Whale Coast Mall a few minutes drive away with more than 80 shops , with grand opening end of November 2017.

There is a lot of space. The owner made an effort to accommodate us to come in earlier. The accommodation is unfortunately near a busy road, so the vehicles are heard in the evening.
