Had a great stay and will definitely visit again.
Dirt road was unfortunately very wet due to previous day's rain, but was passable if you drive slowly.
We came to watch birds and flowers as well The house is so spacious and comfortable Host and hostess so hospitable.

If you get tired of life in the city, take a trip to Huilkrans. Beautiful accommodation with earthly rest for your soul. Helena in Jozua is incredibly hospitable and a treasure trove of information about the area and its people. Here you rest and become human again and leave with a heavy heart and two precious people as friends. An incredible experience!
For those who love the Cederberg Region and the West Coast, Huilkrans is ideally situated; between charming Clanwilliam and Lamberts Bay and many more!

House very spacious, comfortable and tidy. Excellent hosts. It rained a bit and was cold, but the spacious living room with built-in braai made up for it. Enjoyed playing board games. Trip with the owner on his bakkie on the farm was the highlight.

If you want to get away and just watch nature, this is the place for you. Would not recommend you go with a very low car, but the accommodation is lovely thank you.
Very peaceful and beautiful!
The house is spacious with an indoor braai for visits when it is cold. Everything was neat and clean upon our arrival. Although it has four bedrooms, we found that the kitchenware, pots and glasses were sometimes too few to provide for the seven people we were. We mentioned this to the hostess and she undertook to fix it for the future. WiFi was reasonable and enabled three of us who needed to work over the internet to do so. Cell phone signal was a problem in some places in the house. Braai wood is for sale on the farm at a very reasonable price. Hot water in the bathrooms was sufficient. The farm water is slightly brackish so if you're fussy about your drinking water, bring bottled water. There is filtered rainwater for coffee and tea available. You definitely get value for your money.
A spacious farmhouse, with a large kitchen, bedrooms and living areas. We had a cozy time around the indoor braai in the evening and were privileged to be able to witness the most beautiful flower display during the day. The house is very neat and the hostess is friendly. We appreciated the package of rooibos tea.

We were kindly received by Helena and the place is clean and tidy. The nature was so beautiful. Thank you that I could watch rugby there. The house was fully equipped with everything needed, especially the built-in braai.
Very spacious house, 4 bedrooms, large living areas and large indoor braai. Friendly host and hostess in another house on site which would make it convenient if one experienced any problems - which we didn't. Silence, scenery, bright stars. Very reasonable rate. Will go back again, just next time for longer.

Beautiful views from the hills around the farm. Sunrise and sunset indescribable. Stargazing is amazing, as is the clear blue sky. Will definitely stay there again. Here you find your soul again.
