Warrenton is a very safe town. If you want to try your hand at fishing, you will find Barbel, Carp and Yellowfish. Under supervision, the children can swim in the river. Just wear some shoes. Bring your mountain bike, for long safe gravel roads. If you are a keen biker, some of the best gravel roads are just around the corner.

InchCape enables a peaceful, private stay. However, the town's streets are in extremely poor condition.
Mrs. Haarhoff informed us that she had actually forgotten about us but that the housekeeper would help us. The maid was grumpy and unfriendly and wanted to show me that the bed was indeed made and the sheets were clean. I myself will send a letter to Mrs. Haarhoff since she asked for feedback.
House was clean and spacious and the decor was very cute. Anna-Marie and her son were super friendly and helpful. Place is private with a view of the river and a lovely farm atmosphere, making it a very peaceful stay. Will definitely return.
Annemarie was so friendly and helpful. The nicest unique unit with lots of privacy.
Accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable. Our puppy was also safe in the fenced yard. Nice view of the Vaal River. Anmarie followed up regularly and made sure we arrived safely plus everything was in place for our arrival.
The toilet did not work properly, the master bedroom bed linen was dirty, there is a gas cylinder but no gas plate, a paraffin lamp with a wick that is too short and no matches.
Beautiful place next to the Vaal River. Quiet, comfortable. Anne-Marie is a friendly owner who made us feel at home.
Nice modern unit that is practically equipped for self-catering.
We arrived later than anticipated owing to weather and road conditions, however, upon calling the owner all was easily arranged and she gladly greeted us in the dark. The spacious and sensible layout made it easy for our larger group (3 adults, a 10-year-old and toddler) as there are nicely separated bedrooms on one end and the kitchen plus lounge area on the other end. The interior was quirky but charming.

The unit is perfectly neat, clean and with everything you need. On the bank of the Vaal River.
The road to the guests is very bad. And I feel the price for accommodation is not appropriate, it is quite expensive. There is nothing fancy when it comes to finishes. Yes there is DSTV and aircon, but beyond that, the decor doesn't make it appear luxurious for the price you have to pay. I would not pay more than R200 per person per night, if I had to stay there again. It's just that if you have to compare it, the decor and cleanliness and luxury, you can't really compare it, the stay was just too expensive for what you get for me personally.
Thank you very much for a clean and tidy place. Will visit again anytime. And many thanks to Anna-Marie that woef could also enjoy himself there. Appreciate that the animal child was also welcome.

Lovely sheep. Beautiful view. No filter coffee. No rusks. Will make use of it again.
The pigs attract a lot of flies and there is no fly paste or Doom available. There had also been load shedding which made things worse. The cupboards where breakware and cookware are in/on are visited by the flies and it cannot be hygienic. The double bed we slept on is from the last century. The road in Warrenton to InchCape is a nightmare. The air conditioner also lacks a decent service, the noise is terrible.
The owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was OK.
Anne-Marie is an excellent hostess and goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. Her place is tastefully furnished with everything you can think of.
Next to river and farm animals and sounds were a bonus!

It is a beautiful place. We were received very hospitably and had a really nice stay. It's very neat and comfortable. Intended for anyone who wants to rest, visit or just stop for 1 night. Will definitely go again.
We are farm people, but the animals right next to us bothered us a bit to sleep.
