As ek môre weer kan gaan, sal ek. Dit was stunning verby met die beste view ooit.
Thoroughly enjoined our stay. Close to the beach, great view. The monkeys were there but we saw it as part of the Umdloti experience – part of nature. We used a standing fan with a shopping bag and rubber snake tied to it – the movement of the bag and the rubber snake worked like a charm to keep the monkeys out.
The taps in the bathroom leak permanently. The hot tap in the basin works sporadically. We eventually gave up and used the other bathroom. The tap in the shower kept falling off and we could not use it. My husband managed to fix it on the Friday night. The freezer ices up so every time you use it there is a struggle to get the trays out and then there there is ice all over the floor. Besides these issues it is a very nice unit and we enjoyed the stay. It had everything we needed.
If so, do something about the monkeys. Very hot in unit due to that no window or door can be opened.
Very pleasant, centrally located and very quiet.
The unit is very nice and close to the sea. The only thing we needed was a flashlight for loadshedding. Perhaps the owner can provide two for guests. We were woken up very early on Sunday morning by the unit beneath us washing their floors.

Very nice place. Will go again. Also love Umdloti's tranquility. There is not as much traffic as in other towns. Nice restaurant.
Was under the impression that apartments would be cleaned daily. Not informed at all about no replacement of toilet paper. Repairs with workers all day. Even swimming area workers were washing all the time.
Could do with additional pillows, plumbing in the bathrooms need attention, no cold water in basin in 2nd bathroom. Mould in shower needs attention. Monkey a real problem. Even while in the unit you cannot have the doors open.
