The stay was very pleasant. Beautiful view, quiet environment. Great stay.
The place is very neat, gas grill helped a lot, because we only had 2 hours of power for the whole weekend due to a broken transformer, but everything was nice.
We had an awesome stay! Check-in and check-out process went smoothly, Liezel was very good with communication! It's like a home away from home! The air fryer for me was a bonus! The view was incredible! The area is secure, undercover parking is a plus, the place was very clean and had everything for self-catering, would definitely book again!

Communication with Liezel was top notch. The apartment is well equipped for self-catering, and the complex is neatly maintained. The gas grill was a winner.
Izikulu is a nice getaway flat that is clean and has everything you need to come and enjoy yourself. Very nice sea view that makes the place so nice and you sleep peacefully with the sea waves singing in your ears all day. You can safely go to sleep there and everything around you.
The secure covered parking is a big plus for Izikulu. The swimming pool is spotlessly clean and close enough to cool off. The apartment is very nicely and comfortably furnished, and the air conditioner, a lifesaver. We had a great stay and would recommend the apartment anytime.
I will go again for sure. Rarely do you find places that you have to go home with a heavy heart. Thank you very much.

Beside the monkeys, it was a lovely unit and the views were spectacular. Especially seeing the dolphins at play, what more could we ask for.

Beautiful place to stay, luxurious with breathtaking views from the living area and master bedroom.
I personally think it is too expensive to be enclosed in a flat because of monkeys bothering you. We tried to sit outside on Christmas day and eat some food on the balcony which was a fail as the monkeys stole our food and snacks while I was standing there. Other than that there was no other issues. Unfortunately that place won't see me again.

We stayed at Izikulu for 1 week in June and it was absolutely amazing. The view is really fantastic, you are so close to the sea. The veranda is nice and big and we enjoyed sitting there and looking at the sea. The cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Isikulu and we will definitely be back.
This establishment is right by the sea, and it was best to just sit on the balcony and look out over the sea, or a seaside walk in the morning or afternoon. Monkeys are a problem like everyone knows, nothing the owners can do about it! But it does mean you can't leave the doors open while you are inside - I'd love to have more of the sea and fresh air. I can definitely recommend No 20, it's well equipped and we didn't want for anything.
The apartment overlooks the ocean and is on a quiet cul-de-sac. There is secure parking. The apartment itself is clean, tidy and spacious, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and balcony with braai facilities. What bothered me a bit is the bad mobile phone reception, but this might be problematic for Umdloti (because of the dunes) and not just for the apartment. The DStv choices are also limited, but that didn't really bother us. We were both very impressed with the key box!

It was very pleasant however I feel they could supply toilet paper. There was a tiny bit on holder. The other point is if adults are booking in why the girly young duvets in 2nd room (pink fairies)? Otherwise it was great.

We had a great stay even if it was just for a weekend. Liezel was available for any questions and very helpful. It was easy to get the key and leave it again. Everything looks nice and light: I liked the white and blue theme. The balcony is large and like an extra room with almost a 180 degree view of the sea! We went for lovely long walks on the beach. The monkeys were there, but Liezel warned us and it wasn't a big problem: they are part of nature and you live there with the sea right in front of you and the forest right behind you.
Ludwig and Liezel's customer care was amazing. The unit had everything we needed. Was very comfortable, we will certainly be back.
Dis regtig 'n baie aangename plekkie. Goed ingerig en reg by die see. Die eienaars is baie vriendelik en behulpsaam! Apies het nie te veel gepla nie. Ongelukkig was hulle nog besig om die pad reg te maak voor die woonstel. Die geraas was baie steurend. Dit is wel nou gedoen en die volgende mensie wat daar gaan kuier sal nie dieselfde probleem ondervind nie.
Is gesê die ape maak amok. Was terrible. Kon niks oop los nie. Aankoms: swembad groen. Voor ons konstruksie site. Agter 'n verwery. Terrible geraas. Kon nie rus nie. Eienaar wou sekere bedrag teruggee. Ons sou baie verloor. Hierdie is nie n vakansiewoonstel nie. Courtesy om te sê van situasie daar. Ons geld gemors.
Excellent location that was safe for the kids to ride the streets with bikes. Far enough from busy areas to be quiet, but close enough to walk to restaurants.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the place had not been redone for a long time - the cupboards and drawers were broken.
The apartment is well located and within easy reach of the tidal pool. Swimming beach a little further and maybe just a bit too far to walk. Same with regard to the shopping center. A bit of maintenance needed, but nothing has significantly affected our stay. Unfortunately, there are no coffee tables in the lounge area of the apartment and there should be coffee tables for an apartment of this standard.
Will definitely recommend Izikulu to anyone to stay at. I'm hoping to go there again in the future. Thank you Liezel.

Very good location and walking distance from the beach., Sand Bar (nice for cocktails) and Tasca Pizza. Owner was friendly and helpful with the keys or any questions we had, as we were only there for a short while and wanted to make the most of it.
