The place is quiet, and you see animals roaming about, it is a great place to unwind and have some calm.
The owner, Maaike, was very professional, friendly and accommodating when we had to postpone the booking by a day due to personal reasons. She was constantly in contact with us by email. The agent, Sheena, was very helpful and met us with wonderful hospitality. Can definitely recommend the place. All we missed was a boma to be able to visit by the fire in the evening.
There was no TV for the teenagers to occupy themselves. The living room is upstairs which made things a bit difficult. You have to smoke outside but there was no roof so the men must have been standing in the rain. It was solar geysers so the hot water was a problem and the lady informed us when we checked out that there was a switch we could switch. She did say we had to ask her, but we had terrible trouble with cell phone reception. We feel that she did know what the weather forecast was and she could have mentioned it to us in advance. The WiFi doesn't really work upstairs, only downstairs.
Jackals Dream is a beautiful, modern house that is equipped with everything you need for a nice relaxing break. Everything was clean and tidy. We couldn't ask for better. We thoroughly enjoyed living in the house.
It's a new beautiful place, well located and the forest is wonderful. Everything needed is there. We had a nice stay and slept well. Quiet weekend with parents. We were treated to a very cute hamper, with snacks and a bottle of wine. Very cute!
