I can only speak highly of Janmar! Everything was perfect and more. The hostess pays attention to fine details to ensure that her guests enjoy their stay, such as tissues, milk, fruit juice, chocolate on the bed, purified water, etc. is provided. I felt so at home and would not spend the night at any other place in Bloemfontein again. Janmar is the best!

We stopped over for one night on a long trip. Due to travel weather, we were significantly delayed and only arrived late to check in, but encountered no problems. The service was friendly and professional, the accommodation was safe and immaculately clean. I will make use of the accommodation again when the opportunity arises.

Safe, tidy and location close to N1.
We stayed 1 night on our way to the Kruger. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were very neat and clean and well equipped. The accommodation is easily accessible from the N1. (Unfortunately we were there during the load shedding period). The owner has made provision to reduce the noise from the main route by installing double sliding doors, but we like fresh air and you can't get that unless you also hear the noise. However, we were received very kindly and hospitably and a reservation was made for us at the nearest restaurant where the food was excellent! So we would recommend this place to stay anytime. Just close the doors and sleep on the lovely beds!

I recently visited Janmar for the fourth time - three times with my wife and daughter(s) and once for a few nights during a work visit to Bloemfontein. Apart from the fact that the accommodation is impeccably tidy and more than adequate, Marian and Jan are the type of people who go out of their way to make sure that their guests are comfortable. Gasvrou was vriendelik en tegemoetkomend. Het laat bespreek en laat arriveer en is met vriendelikheid ontvang. Die eenheid was skoon, netjies en daar was meer as genoeg koffie en tee. Tot decaf koffie, nog by geen ander gastehuis gekry nie. Die kinders het die hot chocolate waardeer. Beddens slaap heerlik! Beslis die plek om te bly.
It was once again our privilege to spend the night at this extremely well-equipped facility. We were also warmly welcomed again by our hostess, Marian. She was also so accommodating to move our original reservation because adversity prevented us from traveling. Would love to stay here again.

I stayed at Janmar from 5 - 12 December and all expectations were fully exceeded. Everything was absolutely great from start to finish - the room was neat and clean and tidied up every day with clean towels and a lovely little surprise waiting for you. The air conditioning and ceiling fan provided welcome relief after long days at the NSC branding center, as did the lovely, luxurious bath and shower equipped with a bench. I was also very grateful for the free, fast WiFi. I experienced absolutely no problems with security - parking is secure behind a gate with a remote control, rooms are equipped with a security gate and "panic button" as well as a safe in the closet. Marian is an unsurpassed hostess who undoubtedly has the interests and comfort of her guests at heart and is more than willing to go the extra mile. I can't wait to enjoy her delicious breakfast on my next visit. I definitely recommend Janmar to anyone who needs accommodation in Bloemfontein. You will not regret it!

The only thing they need to get 100% is air conditioning in the rooms. It's just too hot in summer nights. You have to sleep with the door open for coolness and then mosquitoes bite again.
