The cottage can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child and comprises 1 upstairs loft bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a downstairs open-plan kitchenette, dining and living area. The loft room is accessed via a ladder and contains a double bed and has extensive views of the mountain. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchenette is fitted with a 2-plate mini-stove and oven, a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The dining area contains a 2-seater dining table and chairs. There is an additional single bed in the living area ideal for a child. The living area opens to a deck with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and a kettle braai facility. Enjoy watching weaver birds building their nests from the front deck.
The property has a solar electricity system, battery backup and a solar geyser. It also has a water reservoir to avoid water outages.
A few metres further up the mountain is a ‘koppie’ with a viewing deck that offers amazing views over Johannesburg's Northern Suburbs including Rosebank, Illovo and Sandton.
