Jules of the Karoo is in the middle of nowhere in the Karoo, but absolutely worth driving the dirt roads to get there. The hospitality of Paula knows no bounds. Beautiful very well maintained place. The barbecue packages and side dishes that you can order extra were delicious. The Karoo plains, silence and billions of stars are exactly what one needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Feel free to make the effort and drive the back dirt roads and come and experience it. Thanks again for a wonderful visit with you.

Jules of the Karoo and his people have stolen our hearts. Julian and Martisan and their children immediately made us feel at home. The gathering in front of the fireplace and around the dining table was cozy and special and the dinner and breakfast top notch. The rooms are beautifully and stylishly furnished. I think there are few places that offer such personal attention. We were warmly welcomed after a very long drive from Pretoria. Martisan and Julian did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and at home. Delicious food, beautiful surroundings and true hospitality that you don't find easily everywhere. Our expectations were far exceeded and we had everything we needed and more! We would definitely recommend Jules of the Karoo Lodge to everyone and hope we will be so privileged to be able to stay there again in the future.

The environment is beautiful with a large variety of antelope species and other wild animals. Beautiful view. Lodge's architectural style is impressive and tastefully furnished with fine detail. Garden and surroundings are beautiful. Welcome drink, salty snacks and breakfast are top notch! We felt very special. Affordable five star quality!
The road to Jules is not bad and was part of the experience of experiencing the Karoo. Jules we will definitely see you again soon.
