The house has the right name - Just Rest. Located in a dead end street, enough sea view and beautifully equipped with everything you need. In the sequel, this is the place for us.
Our stay at Just Rest was amazing and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we required. I would recommend Just Rest to any couple needing a break away to relax and rejuvenate.

This cottage had everything we were looking for to ensure we had a great relaxing stay in Paternoster. Well-equipped, comfortable with loads of nice little touches to make things easier.
It's very conveniently located, walking distance from restaurants and shops. The view of the sea is wonderful, either from the living room or from your bed in the room. Well equipped, clean and tidy.
The accommodation is beautiful and intimate. The view is breathtaking. The town is an experience that will remain with you for a life time. Paternoster is certainly a place everyone must experience.
We will be booking Just Rest for all our visits to Paternoster. Our favorite getaway. Our planned wedding is in February 2022 and very much looking forward to staying at Just Rest again and enjoying a short honeymoon there.
Just Rest is a very comfortable, beautifully put-together home away from home. We immediately fell in love with the place when we stepped foot inside the door! The attention to detail and comfortability was simply amazing, we did not lack anything. Clean, spacious, safe and the added bonus of the great views and being located across the Waterfront! Will definitely come back soon and suggest it to family and friends.
Very dusty and dirty with black mould in the shower, dust everywhere, cables and wires visible and at least six padlocks on wires, plugs and lamps. Unhygienic bread board and toothbrush mugs. The worst place I have ever stayed. Dirty and unwelcoming. Tried to make tea in load shedding, but the gas stove didn't work.
We really enjoyed it.
Nice location. Short walk to beach. Everything well maintained. But really, 1 roll toiletpaper for 2 people for 4 days is not sufficient. And I pay the same for every day that I stay there.
The facility was spacious and special. Lovely stoep to enjoy early morning coffee or afternoon wine and close enough to walk to the beach and waterfront. Paternoster is a special little place!

Just Rest is well equipped, beautifully decorated and airy with a fantastic flow. Peaceful with a short walk to the beach along a sandy path with some great views. We were very fortunate to have the whales in the bay and enjoyed long walks along the beautiful, expansive beach. Good food, good restaurants, all in all a really wonderful treat.
Very nice cozy place. Very clean and tidy. Had a great time, and felt very private. Lovely porch to hang out on and see the sea. Will definitely stay there again.

Couldn't have asked for better! Beautiful unit, very spacious and well equipped. Fireplace in the Cape weather was an absolute plus! Value for money!
We were warmly welcomed and the house met all of our expectations. We were able to experience a lovely sunset from the comfortable braai area (some items have been added in the meantime such as the large umbrella, picnic table and two sun loungers). The uncapped WiFi provides endless entertainment in the comfortable and stylishly equipped living area. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend Just Rest.
Upon our arrival at Just Rest, the TV did not work, although Elna from "Stay in Paternoster" did everything in her power to rectify it. Unfortunately we had to miss a major golf broadcast, but the beauty of Just Rest made up for it and the TV was restored the next day. Thank you to Elna and everyone who has solved the problem. The tranquility of Just Rest is indescribable. Will stay there again.
Lovely place. Great view of the sea. Spacious. Located within easy walking distance to two exceptional restaurants on the Warf.
Perfect weekend getaway for 2 people. The location is good, but be careful of going there on the first weekend of the month because there's a very busy market at the Crayfish Wharf right across the street. There can be between 30 and 50 cars, a lot of stalls and children's playground that disturbs the otherwise peaceful atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday. Otherwise, it's perfect.
This is a wonderful gem. Well equipped and very clean. We didn't want to drive there.
Truly special and so romantic. We extended our stay because we enjoyed Paternoster and this heavenly place so much. Was like a getaway honeymoon. Truly amazing!
This was by far the best accommodation.
We had a very nice stay in Just Rest, the only thing that was not nice is the indoor barbecue, chimney support is not nice at all and the extractor that was put in makes the coals not so nice. You might only get 1 or two glass bowls for the oven, because we couldn't really make anything in the oven. The rest was very nice, we experienced a storm the first night it sounded like the roof of the house was going to blow off, but we then stayed an extra night at the end of the day.
The house was very well equipped and very tidy. The service from Stay at Paternoster was also very good. Paternoster definitely stole our hearts (along with a pitch black kitten who came to visit now and then).

Just Rest really is what the name says to just rest! It is a beautiful place, neat, clean, peaceful and convenient location. It is tastefully furnished and feels like your own little house by the sea! We could just walk from there to where we wanted to be. The lavenders around the house are beautiful. Thank you for allowing us to stay there and will definitely go back again!
Just Rest is a beautiful house that offers everything you need for a holiday. It is spacious with a nicely equipped kitchen, living room with DStv and a fireplace, and a neat bathroom. It also has a porch with a covered braai which we didn't use as it was too cold, but which will be lovely in the summer. The cottage is within easy walking distance of the beach. We spent a pleasant few days here and can recommend it to prospective visitors.
It was an awesome experience.
If you are a couple and prefer self-catering Just Rest is definitely the perfect cottage for you! Peaceful environment, with lovely views!

Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop. The 'Stay in Paternoster' office is situated about 75m further, on the right-hand side of the road, at 87 St. Augustine Road.

Check-out time: Strictly at 10:00 on the last day of your stay, unless otherwise arranged. Any unit that is not vacated by 10h00 will be subject to a surcharge of R 200 per hour or part thereof, for each hour exceeding the check-out time.
