Very nice, relatively new, well-equipped cabins with excellent air conditioning (absolutely essential when it's 40 degrees outside!) and a very nice manager. The only downsides: no WiFi and no table and chairs inside (Unfortunately, the interior planning of the cabins was probably a bit poor in this respect, as there would have been room for a table and chairs if the bathroom area had been a bit smaller). All in all, absolutely recommended for a one-day stopover (we were there for three days).

Was really a festival to be able to stay there, and we regret it was only for 1 night - hopefully we can go again, and this time definitely longer! We had a wonderful stay as a family at Kameelboomkoelte on our way to the Kgalagadi park, Askgam is a beautiful village between the red dunes with very hospitable people.

Very tasteful and spacious Unterkunft. All sehr sauber und well gepflegt. The Ausstattung was very good. Wir hätten uns gewemeere bekemere Sitzmöbel gewünscht. Der Tiefwasserpool was wonderfully refreshing. The Managerin was sehr herzlich und um den Gast bemüht. Because of the desolate power supply in goose land, there was no permanent electricity here either.
It was definitely a positive surprise. A modern self-catering accommodation in the peaceful village of Askham, equipped with all the facilities one needs, with a large veranda and a braai area, all clean, tidy and lovingly put together. Kieka, the manager, is interested in her guests and was very friendly and helpful. Secure parking on site, next to the self-catering chalets. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in just 70 km away. We can highly recommend Kameelboomkoelte.

We spent the night there on our way to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The accommodation was of a high standard and the village had everything we needed. Except that the two available ATMs were empty!
Camel Tree Coolness offers everything needed to just unpack and relax. Units are luxurious and super clean, even in the Kalahari dust. The personal welcome when you drive through the gate deserves mention. The owner was in constant contact with us to make sure we were safe there. I already have a reservation for April 2021. Will stay here again anytime.

Very nice guest house, spacious, tidy, well equipped and very clean. Perfect for an overnight stay near the Kgalagadi Park.
During our trip to the Kgalagadi, most overnight places were fully booked. If you are willing to pay a little more with this place, you are assured of better standards and quality accommodation. Rodney is a very good host and I will stay there again with my next visit.
Rodney was a true host and can be highly rated as a caretaker, the location was great in terms of visiting the park and the tranquility and safety allows a person to truly rest. I would recommend it to any visitor anytime.
