Very nice, the house is very well equipped - everything works and is well looked after. The hearth in the kitchen is beautiful, but it does smoke in the house - I had to open everything later to get the smoke out - pity. The small sink in the kitchen leaked, but they fixed it the next day. The letting agents in Paternoster are very helpful.
What a lovely place, so beautifully artfully decorated, spotless and perfectly appointed with all the amenities you could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the porch with its large wooden table, large braai area and nice view (one block away from the beach but the sea can be seen from the street) in a quiet cul de sac. The reception at the office was extremely competent and friendly and even though we arrived a bit early they let us in with no problem. Two nights were too little, but we will definitely see this place again.

Had a wonderful stay. Only thing that bothers is the indoor grill that smokes in the house. But that doesn't stop us from booking there again. It's easily one of the best accommodation options in Paternoster.
This was our 4th stay in Paternoster, and was the best by far! The accommodation was perfect for our family, and everything we needed! Aircons in the bedrooms would be ideal for the chilly nights. Please take a look at the chimney in the inside braai, it smokes terribly! We are definitely returning, soon!
Kapokbossie is a fantastic house with beautiful decor that is tastefully and stylishly done. Everything you need is there and more. It is highly recommended. Will definitely stay there again. We will definitely stay longer next time, our time was just too short.
Kapokbossie is an absolute gem. Perfect for a couple or group of friends. The house is comfortable, well secured and perfectly appointed. The main bedroom is what dreams are made of. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable large bed and the most amazing patio leading off the room with sea views and sounds. Perfect for that morning cup of coffee. The shower head in the main bathroom needs to be replaced with something less sporadic but other than that it's nice and spacious, water is nice and hot, you just have to be patient with it. The second bedroom downstairs is quite comfortable as well, with an en suite for convenience. When you have the fire going in the kitchen, it warms up the entire house. The outside braai area is lovely for gathering, relaxing and watching the ocean. The house has an inverter which is great for relieving some loadshedding frustrations. The remotes and keys could be marked a bit more clearly, as it causes a bit of confusion when the instructions for the keys don't match up to what is actually labelled. Stay in Paternoster team was amazing to deal with. Very friendly, patient and there to help you anytime. Would stay here over and over again. Absolutely love this cosy, homely house.
The house is very spacious with everything you need. Ample place for young children to play outside. They simply enjoyed the loft bedroom with panther and bear.
We were a group of Rowers, and really enjoyed our stay at the house. Garage was made available for us to store boating equipment. Suggest you mention the other beds are small kids beds/matrasses and a bunk bed.

Kapokbossie is the most beautiful and comfortable house we have visited so far among 6 houses in Paternoster. Apart from everything that was there to make work easy for me as a mother, the house was very neat and clean. Sea view from the porch where we could have fun, and walking distance to the beach, we as Free Staters Kapokbossie really enjoyed!
We actually just came to rest. The master bedroom's bed is heavenly. Kept making excuses to take a nap. Will take Kapokbossie 1 again.
When showering the water was lukewarm that was not very pleasant. But overall we enjoyed our stay.
A very comfortable and well planned house with everything needed for a great weekend or holiday break.
Our weekend was in the middle of winter. The indoor braai/fireplace is a winner, as are the gas heaters that were in the house. Everything is clean and tidy and the house is perfectly located. The alarm system gives you peace of mind and we were able to relax wonderfully.
Would have liked option for late departure. Otherwise it was lovely, perfect weather and very nice visiting house and surroundings. Step away from the sea. Delicious, delicious.

This is a little gem and we enjoyed every moment here. Everything is beautiful. The kitchen is a lovely walk-in kitchen with everything you need and more. The stoep and braai area are well furnished and the view is fantastic! Being within walking distance of the Voorstrand Restaurant is an absolute plus. The main bedroom's bed has extra soft bedding for a great night's rest and the linen is top quality. Kapokbossie is now definitely one of the first 5 on our popularity getaway list. Thank you very much for an unforgettable vacation.

Good location, well equipped, delicious meal at Voorstrand restaurant.
We have rented this place a view times before and we're never disappointed. It's always neat and clean and the main bedroom is nice and big. The inside braai facilities in the kitchen is great because it gives the person braaing the chance to socialise with everyone when the weather is bad and you can't sit on the patio. Die kitchen is well equipped and the house is walking distance from the ocean and the shops if you want to explore the town.
We had a lovely stay at Kapokbossie and it is nicely situated to be able to walk everywhere. The accommodation had everything one needed and more. A couple of points to note: No buckets in showers and water takes a long time to get hot and therefore wastes a lot of water and with the drought this should be addressed. The alarm seemed to have a fault and should be checked. Otherwise a perfect place to chill.
There just wasn't hot water, it was very lukewarm. But it didn't affect our stay.
We enjoyed it very much. The house is perfect for any season of the year with its indoor and outdoor barbecue areas. Fully equipped! Will definitely use the house again in the future.
Fantastically furnished with luxury and great attention to detail in every way. Really great! Everything is functional, including all appliances and utilities throughout the house. Extra bottles of gas for the heaters were very thoughtful and appreciated. Striking is the cleanliness and hygiene throughout the house and yard. So pleasant to push open the door and walk in! Absolutely wonderful to be able to stay there. Thank you very much.

Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.

2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
