At Kattekwaad Accommodation, the friendliest people we have ever visited. The room is very neat and we lack nothing.
The best accommodation in Kaapsehoop. We got more than we expected and the bed is super comfortable. Chris and Lulu are so hospitable and even load shedding had no effect on our visit.
Everything was super clean and comfortable, very friendly, will definitely book again.

Lulu and Chris are so welcoming, our stay was perfect and centred within the town so there was need to drive anywhere. We can't fault anything and recommend room 3 with it's only little private balcony. Will for sure book at Kattekwaad again when visiting.

Cat rage is in a class of its own. Our room exuded luxury with beautiful paintings, silky soft towels, and attention to every detail. The host and hostess are particularly friendly and the breakfast was delicious! We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area again.

Kattekwaad can definitely be recommended to anyone who wants to visit Kaapsehoop. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast is top notch.
Location was perfect and walking distance from amenities.
Lulu and Chris went out of their way to make it comfortable for us. The stay was perfect and everything was as expected and better. The warm blanket was a winner for the cold evenings and the bath and shower's water blazing hot. The place is tastefully decorated and you can see Lulu's hand everywhere. You will see us again!

Good location and value for money.
We used this as our base visiting sites in Nelspruit all the way through to Graskop. An excellent location and the friendly, most helpful hosts made our weekend a super "must-repeat" opportunity. We will certainly return (D.V.) in the near future to continue with our exploring the magnificent vistas and lovely friendly, safe environment of Kaapschehoop! Much to learn, much to see, and much to explore. Kattekwaad is a lovely, clean, tranquil place to stay - highly recommend this accommodation.
One of the best guesthouses I've stayed in.
We were warmly welcomed by Lulu and her husband 2 hours earlier than our official check-in time. The room with all the facilities is beautiful and flawless! So tastefully equipped with many finer "touches" to be seen everywhere. Thank you very much, we will definitely go again and take our friends.
The owners are wonderful people who immediately made us feel at home. It was like we were visiting family. The rooms are beautiful with everything you need and more. I will definitely stay there again if I go to Kaapschehoop.
We had a great time and received good treatment from Chris and Lulu. Being first we had a choice of rooms which we appreciated. Breakfast was very nice and Chris gave us good information about Kaapsehoop and also how to get to the waterfall, always willing to strike up a conversation. Very quiet and safe and you can relax here.

The owners are very friendly, helpful people. Their place is 5 star plus. No effort is spared. Lulu's breakfast is value for money, delicious and filling. Chris is a "tour guide" who can recommend you to any place. Our en suite room was so comfortable. There is even a coffee station and a small fridge in which Lulu stored milk and juice for us. Provision is also made for the TV lovers (full DStv) in the comfortable lounge. It's a shame the weekend was so short. Would love to stay there longer and would recommend it to everyone and go back there myself.

We had a wonderful stay with Aunt Lulu and Uncle Chris. Tannie Lullu is hospitality itself and cares a lot for her guests. The accommodation was homely and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. We stayed within walking distance of all the places in Kaapsehoop.

Really a place to recommend for a couple - beautiful, professional, private, stylish and very friendly owner! We really enjoyed it and wish we could have stayed longer.
The rooms were very tasteful and neat, the wooden floors makes some noise when guest arrive late though. The road is not in a good state and cars with low ground clearance should be driven really slowly. The owners are very hospitable, like old friend by the time we left.
