We are approximately 8 km from the Phabeni Gate entrance to the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route is a lovely day drive away. The town of Hazyview is within 2 km for guests' convenience.

What a gem of accommodation, it has tranquillity and peace, very good, clean, and comprehensive amenities. We were welcomed and practicalities were explained. For anyone wishing to avoid crowds, and enjoy the calmness of nature, this is the place to come to.
We were pleasantly surprised! The rondavel is large, comfortable and clean. Everything works as it should. Wonderfully quiet and a beautiful garden with lots of birds during the day and frogs at night. Peggy is a wonderful hostess and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely come and camp here when we visit the lowlands again.
Bungalow is very well equipped. Very nice garden and the geese made it extra special. Lulu's visits were also a highlight!

Kiaat Bungalows is very centrally located, easy access to shops, eateries, adventure trips and the wildlife park. The bungalow itself was beautifully equipped and clean, with lots of extras included in the already reasonable price such as a bag of charcoal, coffee, milk and sugar. The owners and staff are very friendly and are up to date on the area's offers. The garden is beautiful and the pool nice and clean.

I would definitely recommend Kiaat. Peggy and Irma made us feel very welcome and did everything in their power to make it comfortable for us. The rusk every morning was a winner.
We were given room to roam around the yard. Our host was willing to assist whenever she could and gave us an indication of what to expect around the area. She came across as genuine.
The owner was extremely helpful with road signs and the rondavel was well equipped. It is a peaceful and very beautiful environment and is fenced with a security fence.

Was a very peaceful visit. The aircon was a winner must say, and everything was neat and clean. We only had the power trip a few times when we turned on the stove, toaster and microwave, but can work around it. The bed was super comfortable.

Nothing was lacking in our needs at Kiaat Bungalows. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, which met all our needs and more! The ablutions are great. The environment is beautiful! The management is very helpful and friendly! It's nice and close to the nearest shopping center and other places of interest in Hazyview as well as the Phabeni gate of the Wildlife Park. We also felt safe the whole time! Feel free to use Kiaat Bungalows' services!
It was great! The place was clean, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the people were very friendly to us. We didn't feel foreign at all! Only small issue was that we didn't like the fact that we walked out of our room with towels on, to go to the bathroom. It was really annoying especially at the odd hours of the night.

I found the Kiaat bungalow to be well priced for the value provided. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place as a central point to visit areas such as the Kruger National Park and other interesting locations in and around Hazyview. With the R40 road recently repaired, it was a pleasure to drive to different spots.
The directions in town are not good - had to search for the place.
It was a wonderful rest in nature with only nature sounds. We were very spoiled by Peggy. We will definitely stay there again if we go to the game park.
