The accommodation is very good and tidy. Offers comfort with everything needed after a long day. However, the location is directly opposite the N14 which is not correct according to the information. Road noise through the night prevents a good night's rest.
It was much more pleasant to stay here under the previous ownership. The reception staff has an unpleasant attitude that just sours the stay completely. There are really strange rules, e.g. you are not allowed to prepare food in the room, but there is a microwave oven. There is a very luxurious TV, but only the SABC open channels are available. Not everyone has streaming facilities. There is a restaurant, but it is closed on weekends. However, the room was clean and well equipped.
The stay was pleasant, neat and clean. Accommodation and grounds are very neat and beautiful. Security was also good.
It is well located, clean and has everything one would need with enough space.
Generator turning on in the middle of the night during load shedding is a bit troublesome. You can't sleep until the thing turns off again.

Klein Plasie is truly a gem with modern rooms, clean facilities, efficient staff. You can buy braai packages as well as braai buns if you want to cook yourself, their braai facilities at each room are very neat and clean. There is a gym and a swimming pool, a lovely veranda for just sitting and visiting with something cold to drink. They provide a good breakfast too. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Best place to stay in Springbok.
All accessories needed were there.
Other residents were noisy and we were up at 9pm talking and laughing. We had to go and ask them to be gentler. Insufficient parking so no. 19 parking incorrectly and it inconveniences everyone from no. 15 to 18. No staff 20:00 to help with this. Only one 40cm long towel rail and staff are then very smart to tell you they will hang the towels out tomorrow but tomorrow morning you will have a wet towel.

The guesthouse is highly recommended. Located close to the N7 but still wonderfully quiet. Beautiful rooms also suitable for self-catering. Delicious breakfast in a large restaurant. Hopefully these will be open again in the evening after Covid. Will stay here again and again.

My review might have been more favourable if we had a different unit. We had unit 5 which was surrounded by water storage units 2 directly in front of our unit. 2 water storages on the side plus a generator. This did not create a holiday atmosphere. A lot of people stayed 1 night and might have been content with this accommodation. The staff should have taken a 2 night stay into account and if we had been given a unit overlooking the garden, I would have been a lot happier. The trucks also thundered past the complex all night. We are also only supplied with 2 of every cutlery, crockery items which were very minimal. The linen on the beds was of very good quality.
Well-managed and care to detail offering comfortable spacious rooms with all you need. Excellent BBQ options are available from restaurants on-site. Don't look any further if you want a hassle-free stay in Springbok!
The rooms are very comfortable and nicely furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and everything is very neat and clean. The only thing that is not so convenient is the fact that you have to use a communal kitchen when you need anything more than a microwave and kettle. The communal kitchen was far from our unit and it's not really practical to prepare a meal like that.
The cleanliness of the grounds and rooms is above average. Breakfast was good. Parking can be a problem as the space within the electric fence is limited. Firewood, ice and meat are for sale on site.

Stoep has a neat braai area, delicious self-braai, could order braai buns. Breakfast to be had and selected in the beautiful kitchen reataurant. Extremely impressed with great customer service, perfect rooms, tip top and inviting amenities and appearance. Will definitely stay there again.

Were a family of five with two teenagers who stayed over for one day. The rooms are fully furnished and were beautifully decorated.

If there is a better guest house in Springbok, we haven't found it yet.
Everything you need to have a wonderful stay. If I could make one suggestion, snacks would be another nice addition. I stayed in unit six for the first time this time - the water pump next to unit six is very noisy and the boiler in unit six was not working properly.
Would have liked to stay longer. More hangers would be a plus. I have my cord in no. 16 forgotten. No feedback yet.

We slept over on the way to the Richtersveld. Our stay was pleasant.
We stayed 5 nights during our flower viewing holiday. Ideally located to enjoy nature in a different direction every day. Would be happy to recommend Kleinplasie.

The double bed in no. 8's mattress is obsolete and should be replaced. The booking leaves an option for B&B, but upon enquiry, you are told that no breakfast is available due to COVID-19 regulations. Below Level 4 food may be served, but the numbers must be limited. It was quite an unpleasant surprise!
Beautiful place in Springbok. Was surprised to see that it is in town and not on a farm. Gardens are beautiful with chickens running around. Everything is clean and in working order. Just be aware that their geysers are only switched on from 5 to 9 in the morning and 5 to 9 at night, so outside of those times you may shower in cold water or wash dishes. However, this is not a problem if you are aware of it.
Very expensive for what is offered. Self-catering? That is very a misleading statement. One would have expected a little more in the way of catering equipment. Cannot recall anything was said about the communal kitchen before we arrived. Not ideal situation for us. The catering aspect must be expanded on in advertising unless I missed that.
We were there with family to look at flowers and explore the area. Used the accommodation as a base for two nights.

We would like to check in there again with the greatest ease! And also the daily cleaning and tidying up, from the barbecue, through the kitchen area to the bathroom, towels and all. And also the constant availability of someone who can help with information, advice, etc. and who is consistently friendly. It's really pleasant to stay there, the environment is really quiet and peaceful. It was a pleasant experience, to put it mildly, the full three days we stayed there!

Due to circumstances we arrived late at night and were still kindly welcomed. The sleeping facilities are top quality. No complaints about any aspect. Upon entering, the cleanliness is noticeable. It gives a farm atmosphere. Room was comfortable and spacious with a nice stoep and built-in braai. Quiet environment and well located for connection to all the main routes. The restaurant's dishes are excellent at reasonable prices. Here you can relax for a few days. Kleinplasie is on my favorite list for accommodation.

Kleinplasie is the ideal overnight stop. Rooms are well appointed with electric blankets for the cold winter evenings. They brought our dinner to the room because we were watching the final of the 2018 Fifa world cup. Can definitely recommend!

We spent one night here. The rooms are well equipped for the Northern Cape heat. There is also a 'splash pool', as well as a restaurant that serves delicious pizzas.

We were traveling as a family with an 18 month old boy which might not have been the easiest as there wasn't really a play area. But our stay was very pleasant! We were kindly received and taken to our "house". Everything was clean and tidy and we received a free bottle of wine. We used the small but very nice swimming pool. I know there is a kitchenette on site, but did not use it. The buffet breakfast was also delicious and the staff very friendly. The guest house definitely makes you feel like you are in another world. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay there in the future.

It was a pleasant experience to get a clean room after the long journey and I could have a shower and a good night's rest and the next morning I had a full breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay there again on my next holiday.

Arrived on January 1st. The management could not say which shops in the town were open and which were not. Communication not very good - was not informed about breakfast hours being later on weekends. Travelers cannot even fall in the road for 8 hours.

The rooms only have a microwave oven and some rooms do not have a sink in the kitchen. Also breakfast is not included and no one told us that you have to book for breakfast the day before, with the result that we could not eat breakfast before our race. And with only a microwave, there's only so much you can prepare. For what we pay, I would have expected better service.
The Namaqualand area is very beautiful and the scenery beautiful during Springtime. We would love to go again in the future!

Description
The Family Chalet is a open plan unit which features a lounge, kitchenette. There is one double bed in the one side of the open plan area and the second room consists of 2 three quarter beds. 1 Sharing bathroom with shower. Hair dryer and 4 bathrobes in the chalet. The rooms are fully furnished with bed linen supplied.The lounge area has a TV with DStv. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, cutlery, kettle, toaster and braai equipment. No oven/stove in the room/chalet, but we have a sharing guest kitchen on the premises for cooking. Free wi fi in the chalet and on premises. There is also a private veranda whereby guests can enjoy a great afternoon/evening braai. Generator on the premises if there is any power interruptions. All chalets will have electricity. All rooms are smoke free, however there is a designated smoking area on the private patio.

Kleinplasie offer breakfast on request from Monday to Friday, unfortunately no breakfast is served on weekends. A fully equipped "guest kitchen" is available for the guests who wish to cook for themselves.
Kleinplasie consist of a generator for any power interruptions. All chalets will have electricity at all times.
