We arrived and were expected, our room was wonderful, especially the bed it was so so comfortable, we were welcomed warmly and made to feel at home immediately. The breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.
The accommodation was comfortable, tidy and the breakfast was delicious. However, we were very disappointed because our booked room was given to foreigners, apparently because they were not satisfied with the room available to them. My reservation was already made in April and paid in full.

Kliprand Guest House was like an oasis after a day long journey from Cape Town. The hostess received us very kindly and showed us everything. The room and facilities were spotless and 100% operational. The next morning's breakfast was delicious and we left as friends and drove on. Would recommend Kliprand Gastehuis without hesitation.

The staff are businesslike, but went out of their way to accommodate us with additional requests. There is a coffee station in the room, but no sink to wash dirty cups. There is also no cutlery for self-catering meals, although they do provide for braai. Did provide plates and cutlery from the kitchen on request.

The cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the owners make the stay very pleasant. This rubs off on the other guests as well and the result is a warm atmosphere.
I was received and taken to a luxurious room, where there was fruit, chocolate, biscuits etc. waited for me The host immediately booked me a place at an excellent restaurant for dinner. Here too the service was excellent.

We arrived at Kliprand Guesthouse as strangers, but soon became friends with Cathy and Mark! Such hospitality, genuine interest in us as people was truly a privilege at this guest house. The owners and their staff were really very professional, wearing their Covid masks at all times! The breakfast was excellent! If we come back to that area, we will definitely stay at Kliprand Guesthouse again!

My room was very small and the bathroom needs a revamp. The bathroom had a door leading to another room. It was not soundproof and I could hear the next door guests. There were very bright outdoor lights in front of our windows that brightened the rooms and it made it very difficult to sleep. Breakfast was good.

We travelled with our puppy and we could comfortably accommodate her. The guest house does not offer dinners, but the owner referred us to a good restaurant. In addition, the room was modern and well equipped with, among other things, power points for the mobile phones, Wi-Fi for internet, as well as adequate and good quality coffee and tea. We both smoke and there was room on the veranda just outside the room, with an ashtray we could use.

We were welcomed with the words "yes" at the gate. Then with "have you booked". Is this Namaqua hospitality? The host had to give us the wrong room as he got the 6 rooms all mixed up. After that he then accused the lady for it and cursed so much that I felt ashamed. We got the feeling that we were actually not welcome and would not recommend anyone to stay there. There are many other places in the area.

The first night we slept on the way to Richterveld, the room was excellent and we were kindly received by Mark. The breakfast was excellent. When we returned 5 days later there was only a helper who was busy washing other guests' cars. However, the 'outside room' allocated to us was neither acceptable nor serviced properly. However, at our request he gave us another room in the main house which was perfectly fine. The bathroom was great, but because the bathroom was also connected by a door to another guest room next door, sound was an issue. Despite this, we would recommend the guest house.

Well worth staying there. Marc was friendly and received us with open arms. Even asked if we were hungry and advised and showed us where we should go for a good meal. Would highly recommend it for anybody who just wants to rest in peace after a long day's trip.

A beautiful house and setting. We received a warm and welcome welcome. The offer of tea for the two weary travelers was a much appreciated gesture. We just found the directions how to get to the house extremely confusing. Maybe you should think about working on it.

Stayed here en route home from Namibia. Comfortable room, spacious, looking out over well-kept garden. It was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Coffee/tea were available in the room, and the breakfast was good and hearty. I would stay there again if the opportunity arises. The only negative? We initially struggled to find it - perhaps some well-placed markers could help?

The room and bathroom were nice and big and everything was tidy, bed was nicely covered with extra blankets, there was also a panel heater and electric blanket for us to use. The neighborhood was very quiet and parking was very safe. Only complaint is that there was an outside light shining into the room all night.

I slept there twice. The second time it was on short notice and yet it was as if they had been expecting me the whole day. It was incredible! Huge, spacious, very neat rooms and bathrooms. Very pleasant experience with 2 amazing people as host and wife.
Mark and Naomi went out of their way to make our weekend fantastic. Our group of tennis parents booked the whole guest house and they made us feel so at home and adjusted meal times to suit our schedules. The facilities are impeccably neat, clean and of the best quality. On the last night our children decided to move out of the village hostel and sleep there too and without a glance or blush each of us found mattresses in our rooms and there were enough braai suits and salads for everyone! 10/10 for Kliprand!
The Kliprand B&B is a convenient place to stop for a night on your way to the Augrabies Falls or Namibia. The rooms are spacious , well decorated and clean. The owners serve nice, not sophisticated, meals at reasonable prices.

The staff are friendly and competent and the location excellent. We stayed there for three nights and I would stay there again without hesitation. Room 1 is too small for a 4 star guest house, but I was able to move as soon as possible.

Not only was the accommodation experience excellent, but also the help I received after my vehicle's battery failed. Once again the accommodation and friendliness of the owners was excellent. The owners go out of their way to help you if a problem arises with anything. The location of the guest house is very good and centrally located, as well as in a very quiet environment.

We stayed over at Klipraqnd Guesthouse on our way to Namibia. We were welcomed by the Manageress, and being delayed by roadworks we arrived later than expected, however the welcome was amazing despite the late hour. My son stayed in his own room and was also very impressed by the rooms,the decor inside and outside was stunning, I would recommend it to everybody, and will definitely stay here again. You can expect a big spacious room, big shower, clean and neat facilities, and tea,coffee,and water in the room. They provide everything you would need,

The reception was warm, everything was clean and tidy.
All that bothered me is that it is self-help accommodation, but there were no plates to eat food from. Cups and saucers and everything were in place, but the plates were not available. I assume it was just an oversight. Other than that, everything was great.
Safe, comfortable guesthouse with hospitality like few guesthouses. Excellent service and delicious breakfast!
