Amazing destination, Cape Town.
We had a great stay at Knightbridge 407. Would definitely recommend it. The only bit disappointing was that the DStv wasn't working but Andrew who was our concierge really went out of his way to fix it for us so even though he couldn't fix it we got really great service.
Knightsbridge 407 exceeded our expectations! Spacious, luxurious, and definitely value for money!
We had a very nice stay. We only have 2 complaints: the sofas in the lounge were very dirty and the shower door in the main bedroom didn't close properly. Furthermore, it was very clean and well appointed.
Keep up the excellent standard. Will definitely recommend to others.
We were somewhat surprised that in the toilet (as you enter the door) there was a bucket and mop (both were already well used/dirty). When we used the toilet we realized why it was there. The flush pipe on the toilet was leaking badly. So every time after using the toilet we had to mop up the "dirty water"! This was clearly an old problem that had not been fixed. The Curtains in the en suite were missing quite a few hooks and links and were hanging loose/open/down. Luckily we had laundry pegs to fasten them together. Although there was washing powder for the washing machine (which we didn't use) there was no powder for the dishwasher, which we used every day (we used our own purchased powder). The older couple who slept in the en suite were bitten by "something" during the night. The hanging cupboards in the en-suite are also used as storage for old things. Apart from the above, the stay was very pleasant.
There needs to be some attention paid to the kitchen cooking equipment in terms of pots and microwave dishes. One tea towel for a week is not sufficient nor is the tiny bottle of dishwashing liquid. Please view this as constructive criticism as we really enjoyed the apartment.
Although only the master bedroom had a desk, the dining room table was sufficient for us to sit and work in the afternoons after the conference. The location is ideal if one needs to attend something in Century City. Will use it again anytime.
