At Kudu Ridge Game Lodge all the safari tents and chalets are en-suite, private and set in the indigenous Addo bush.
Bush walks are available on the game reserve. Wildlife includes kudu, bushbuck, impala, zebra, as well as numerous birds and rare plant species. Safari trips to Addo Elephant National Park can be arranged to view elephants, rhino, buffalo, giraffe and more.
The lodge serves South African cuisine in the dining room and outdoor boma around the fire. There is a well-stocked bar as well as a bush bar for game viewing sundowners.
Facilities include free WiFi, communal big screen television, open-air fire pit and viewing deck overlooking the reserve, the Sundays River Valley, and Addo Elephant National Park. We also have a pool table in the boma.
Activities such as canoeing on the Sundays River, elephant safaris, quad biking and guided tours can be arranged on request. Addo has one of the longest double zip-lines in South Africa.
The Kudu Ridge function venue can host private functions, conferences, and meetings. The venue comfortably accommodates 45 guests or delegates.
Kudu Ridge is a 45-minute drive from the airport, beaches and shopping malls of Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

11 guests' feedbackWe really enjoyed our stay at Kudu Ridge. It's so friendly and in the evening, if you're not on the game drive, everyone gathers around the fire chatting or playing snooker until the meal is served. Meals were delicious!
The stay could have been hugely improved by better communication so that we understood how the meals worked, what the activities were and how to access them. None of the questions we asked in advance were answered fully or even at all. The facilities were extremely basic and outdated and could be improved by small details such as a mosquito repellent machine, a place to put things down in the bathroom and facilities for outdoor seating at the room a fridge and bottled water and a reasonable quality of coffee and milk being made available (which is the generally accepted standard in the guest houses we have stayed in). Although they advertise free WiFi this is only available at the central lodge - not in the chalets. The photos oversell the facility. The game drive and dinner by Addo Wildlife was excellent and good value for money - which redeemed an otherwise very disappointing stay.
Great boma. Comfortable accommodation. Very private with rooms surrounded by natural fauna and flora. We were unable to do a game drive due to very heavy rain, but we will definitely return.
Brian and Jenny are great hosts and hostesses. Friendly and professional service. We had a good time and relaxed.

The accommodation was very good and value for money.
Dinner is totally worth it. Jenny and Brian make it very cozy.
It's just accommodation. There is a restaurant, but there is nothing to do. You must leave the lodge to do activities. They have a game drive for R450 pp. The chalets do not have a table/chairs to relax outside, you only have a bed in the room and can't see anything from the chalets either. Couldn't just sit on the bed and stare at a bush all weekend. Sorry.
It was a very nice place to getaway to, in our own country.
Friendly reception, lovely visits in the boma around the fire, excellent food, neat and clean place to stay, peaceful farm atmosphere. Will definitely go again!
