Quite pricey for a room with no view. Not exactly a "Country House" as it is in town. But as a base to travel from it checks most of the boxes.

Beautiful stay. We were away most of the time exploring Franschhoek the Wine Tram, horse riding and other activities in Franschhoek. We did not manage to enjoy the morning breakfast overlooking the spectacular view, however the host set aside a breakfast at no extra cost on our trip back and was totally delicious. The rooms were perfect, our view was outside the pool area, relaxing and beautiful gardens relaxing. We managed to get a swim in after our Wine Tram experience with sunset in the background which was truly peaceful and beautiful. Our vehicle was secure overnight and the security in and out provided comfort of being safe. Thank you for all you did for making our first stay in Franschhoek memorable.
Our family had a wonderful stay at La Cabriere between the beautiful Franschoek mountains. Lisa received us very kindly and immediately made us feel at home. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning on the veranda overlooking one of the swimming pools in the beautiful garden.
Conveniently close to Franschoek. The hospitable service made us feel very much at home. The gardens are beautiful and we had a great time.
