We had a very peaceful 2 days while our pugs could play in the large fenced yard. The house was well equipped and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend it.

The old box TV is no longer acceptable and Wi-Fi is a minimum requirement these days. There was no canoe available as advertised and the bicycles for our use were not decent.

Lagoon Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Sedgefield on foot. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.
It was very clean, the owner was friendly and attentive and we would stay here again. Close to shops, restaurants and across the road from the lagoon. About a 5 minute drive to Myoli beach or a 15 minute drive to Gericke's Point beach. The bed we used was comfortable and warm. August is still cooler at night but slept very well. This home is fully equipped with a full kitchen, braai area, big back garden with jungle gym for kids and lock up garage.
The house was very tidy upon our arrival. The house is very central and we could walk to businesses. We had a very nice stay and will stay there again in the future. Mavis coming to clean is a very nice bonus!
We would definitely use Lagoon Side Cottage again for our next visit to Sedgefield. The position was excellent, close to the beach and lagoon plus the village centre. A big plus was that they were pet friendly. The cottage had everything we required and was very clean. The service was excellent, we were given efficient solar lights during the load shedding, all in all a very enjoyable long weekend.
The house is situated in a lovely section of Sedgefield, within walking distance of the lagoon and the various shops. The house is lovely and big, rooms are a wonderful size. Neighbourhood is nice and quiet.
We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Electric blankets were turned on when we arrived and there was a heater, extra blankets, etc. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotless.

We really enjoyed staying in Lagoonside for the weekend. It is walking distance to the lagoon but not too close to the busy road. We will definitely want to go back in the future.

Clean, neat and ideally located (away from the mainstream, yet close to everything). Fully equipped. You don't need to bring anything along except food and a good book or two.
