The house is located on a large property set between pine trees dating back hundreds of years. The property is a mere 260 m from Langbaai Beach, 700 m from Kommabaai Beach and 850 m from Voëlklip Beach
The house can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed. The second bedroom contains a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin and a toilet. Both bedrooms have sweeping views of a large green lawn and trees at the front.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery as well as a washing machine and an espresso machine. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 6 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. There is a fireplace in the living room which is ideal for winter months.
The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has outdoor patio furniture, and built-in braai with wood and gas facilities. The patio overlooks the spacious enclosed garden and offers beautiful mountain views.
Voëlklip is also situated on beautiful mountain ranges covered with Cape Fynbos in a nature reserve with various biking and hiking trails, rivers and waterfalls. Hermanus has a beautiful backdrop with mountains covered with Cape Fynbos.

This was our second time here, again very nice. Very clean, the hostess goes out of her way for your comfort. Recommended!
We had a lovely time. The fireplace was a big plus for the rainy winter days. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. I would stay there again anytime.
Loved the outdoor area of this home and all the amenities that you need including a dishwasher and washing machine, which we did not need to use, but great if it was required. Conveniently situated to centre of town and the beach. Great that we were allowed to bring our puppy along too.
Langbaai Beach Cottage is not only beautiful, it's situated really close to the beautiful beaches and while braaiing it felt like the waves were crashing down just behind me. Leatitia, the hostess, was really helpful with recommendations for pet-friendly restaurants for my dogs and they loved it also. Whether you want to walk your dog at Grotto's doggy heaven or go whale watching or enjoy the sites of town, everything is close by. The best part is coming back to Langbaai to relax and unwind. Highly recommended.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and the house is very stylishly done and well equipped. The fireplace was lovely for the fall weather.
We had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the nearby Cliff Path and the beaches. Leatitia was an attentive host.
The house has everything you need. The environment is quiet and safe and it's walking distance from the sea.
Laetitia is a welcoming and helpful host. The cottage was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the unique shower/bathroom on the deck added to our "beach house" experience. The deck with the braai and private garden was the hub of the home is a winner! We walked to the beaches, and to Lizettes restaurant for sundowners and a bite to eat, the cottage is beautifully situated. Thanks Laetitia for being so accommodating for us to pitch our small tent in the now fenced off back garden, it worked like a charm. Our 2 Labradors also enjoyed the cool of the back garden and stoep. A top holiday! We will be back.
The place is very well equipped and very close to the sea. I recommend the place to any person.
A cute little house with all the modern amenities. There is no DStv, but everything else is there and the hostess is very helpful. We really enjoyed the visit with our dogs.
Very good location, neat and safe. Although the accommodation is completely consistent with details as provided on the LekkeSlaap website there is more than one property on the same plot which slightly spoils privacy.
We enjoyed the nice house with very good location. The cottage offers new and old-fashioned feel. New kitchen and dining room with wooden floor, living room and rooms. The unique part was that the bathroom with shower is outside on the porch. There is also a toilet inside the house. We had stormy weather so the stove was welcome. We just couldn't enjoy the outdoor barbecue area due to the weather.

Amazing pet-friendly accommodation - our labrador loved it! The cottage is equipped with everything you need. The indoor fireplace was perfect for the few cold nights we had and we were welcomed by Leatitia's friendly hospitality. Will definitely be back!
We had a great time. Everything is there that you would need. The photos are a bit misleading regarding the garden. The part we stayed on is not really pet-friendly as your pet can actually only be in the back of a very small piece of land. WiFi didn't work at all, but luckily we didn't need it.
Langbaai Beach Cottage is in a beautiful part of Hermanus and is well equipped. Safe and fully fenced for our 2 large dogs.
Very central, house has everything you need, the shower a little problematic and difficult to regulate the temperature. Dogs not allowed at the back of the house which is difficult when you are eating on the "stoep", the pets don't understand. We had a great time.
