We had a nice stay, but the cottage is better equipped for only 2 adults. We had 2 small children with us and it was a bit neat. The bathroom only has a shower but the owner gave us a baby bath to use which helped a lot. The place is very clean and tidy and well equipped. Since we are from Gauteng, we feel the security could be tightened. There is no security gate in front of the door and the entrance gate is unlocked during the day so access can be gained at any time.
Very nicely furnished! Workers are friendly very helpful! Very comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, all I had to criticize was that the shower's pressure was a little weak, sprayed only a little at a time, but other than that it was a wonderful stay!
We enjoyed our time especially the tranquility, owners are very friendly, and the place is beautiful.
The apartment was very cold and there were no heaters. However, we still had a nice stay.
The owner was incredibly friendly and immediately made us feel at home. It was my fiance's birthday the next day and the owner baked us muffins to celebrate. The townspeople are very friendly and never felt unsafe. The place is very peaceful and clean and we enjoyed every moment. We will definitely return again if we get the opportunity.
The bed can easily be replaced, already slept in and it does not make it comfortable to sleep.
The cottage is beautiful and well equipped, Vicky's hospitality was excellent. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to stay there again.

The rooms were serviced everyday and everything was clean. The atmosphere was calm and we could relax well. I will not hesitate to stay there again. Staff were professional and friendly.

Many thanks to Vicky for a very friendly welcome and the fresh blueberry muffins, we really enjoyed our stay, especially the conversation but also the fact that there is no TV. Lavender Cottage lives up to its name with the beautiful Lavender and white roses that make such a beautiful picture, we are impressed with your hard work. The care with which the Cottage's furniture and decor was chosen contributed to the tranquility we experienced. We will definitely spend the night with you again, we still want to visit the Katsedam!
The place is ideal if you want peace and quiet and bonding time.

Was difficult to find but once there very welcoming, hygienic, atmosphere. Pity there is no radio or TV reception, although we are encouraged to read or talk to one another, but we do that all the time so a bit of music would be relaxing. The stay was very relaxing though.
Lovely cottage. Everything was tidey and clean. Owners are very nice people.
So many extra little treats, such as muffins and cappuccino for the cold evenings. Had a lovely time. Very peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.
