74 guests' feedbackIt was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Everything worked, it was tidy, the hostess was very helpful and friendly and it was very close to the Vaal river. The self-catering unit had all the cutlery you could think of, as well as enough parking! The file with all the information about the place also had a very detailed section about what you can do when and activities you can enjoy at different times of the day.

Had a wonderful stay. The fridge just needs to be serviced urgently. (The) left panel of the fridge (if you stand in front of the fridge) shocks you when you open the door or take something out of the fridge.

Beautiful apartment (unit 2), excellent accommodation with everything and more to make our visit very comfortable and peaceful. Everything was clean and tidy and the "outdoor kitchen with the built-in braai" made gatherings around the table so enjoyable. Beautiful clean bedding with the most comfortable beds. Secure parking and "all around very impressive". A big advantage was the running water that was available all the time. Connie, our hostess, met us at the unit upon arrival and showed us around and went out of her way for us throughout our stay. Thanks to the WiFi and the "smart TV" we could comfortably watch the World Cup final in the unit (and also celebrate when we won). We will definitely be back. It was a lovely weekend. Thank you so much Connie and hubby for everything. Hope to see you again soon.

Everything is neat and in working order, even the air conditioning! Secure parking. All my friends were so impressed with everything! The lights that stay on during load shedding and running water that is available all the time was such a big plus! This is truly the ideal accommodation for group or single booking. . My weekend was perfect and delicious, an unforgettable birthday!
Our family with teenagers stayed in the Black Stallion unit. The unit contains everything and more that is needed. Thank you Connie for the delicious biscuits, tea, coffee and chocolate. We felt so welcome and appreciated the gesture so much. We will recommend Le Franz to all our friends. We had a wonderful rest. Plus Netflix and the Wifi was a big bonus, definitely value for money.

We were 5 adults in the Black Stallion unit and really enjoyed it. The place is very neat and clean, well equipped and the patio kitchen with the built-in braai was fantastic. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and even brought us a pan from their own home when we decided to bake bread. We will definitely go again.

All that was lacking was air conditioning in the unit. Other than that it was excellent.
The units were excellent for our group of 7 which included small children and teenagers. The way in which some of the units can be combined to create a larger unit makes this a particularly adaptable option for larger families and families traveling together. The facilities are very good - everything one needs. The units are very stylish and painfully neat and clean. Security is very good. Communication was easy. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Would highly recommend for a couple or family getaway. We loved the fact that we could enjoy our privacy indoors and outdoors and also choose to braai and gather around the boma and share our meals together.

A nice venue, we like Unit 5 - very cosy.
Just an overnight stay for teachers and athletes who participated in the Special Schools' Eastern Free State athletics in Sasolburg. It was really very spacious and super clean and neat.
We were only there for 1 night, but everything was clean and tidy and it was great to sit outside and have a barbecue. The children could play outside.which makes it fun. It's near the river and was nice and quiet. Everything you need is there. Even ice in the freezer. Will definitely book with you again.

Just what you need for a weekend break.
Everything was very clean and tidy and it is located in a very quiet part of Paris. We really enjoyed our stay there.
1. Manual operated gate makes one feel unsafe. 2. Narrow driveway for parking is quite a challenge. 3. No-one to welcome you. 4. Door lock loose makes it difficult to lock and unlock. 5. Leaking tap in bathroom caused water to flow all over the floor.
Guesthouse is conveniently located. They went out of their way on our arrival by giving us an additional room. We planned for the kids to sleep on the pull out couch. They had an open room and so we all had comfortable beds. Rooms have everything you could need for self-catering.
Clean and neat. Unit 5 is good for a single person, but not a couple. Entering and exiting the premises with a big vehicle is a challenge.
Rooms were not ready on time. No warm bedding for child, only 2 sheets and duvet without cover. Carpet in living area and bath mat were very dirty. Bed in back room creaks very badly. Coffee, tea and cremora containers still had previous guests' empty paper bags in them.
I can reccommend Le Franz to anyone and will also definitely be making use of them again. Everything exceeded our expectations. Clean and neat. Nice and close to the river and we could walk down with our children to go fish. The area is very safe and peaceful.

The competition of the pet pigeons quickly made us forget the hustle and bustle of the City of Gold and the lovely, neat, spacious room made us feel at home. It's only the bathroom that doesn't provide the necessary privacy which was a thorn in my side for us, but would definitely stay there again.

Really a lovely place to relax after a long flight. We all had a good sleep as it is so peaceful and waking up to the sound of the birds was great.
It was a lovely stay for our 4 friends. Value for money. We were given an extra room for free to use as there were no other people - that was a bonus! I would only suggest that a shower mat be put in room 3 as well. We enjoyed it very much!
