It's been a long time since we've stayed at a place so nice! It is the most blissful atmosphere with the springboks and cattle that come to eat 50m in front of the stoep's door. The cottages have everything you need and the reception on the farm feels like home. I will never stay anywhere else in Springbok again.

The unit is very well appointed and has everything you need to spend not just one night there, but several nights. The view from the room and the veranda is great, and you will spend hours staring at it without realizing it. I will definitely stay at Liefland Cottages again if we are in the area.

Would not recommend making fire in the fireplace. The whole room was full of smoke. Had to pay for firewood which we did not use up because of the smoke. Short of one pan, can't make bacon and eggs.

One suggestion (not critical) but sharing if owner thinks it makes sense: small closed fireplace in interior fireplace area to avoid possible smoke in interior area. Liefland is a beautiful place, the cottages are furnished for comfort and everything inside shows good taste. Laetitia is the perfect hostess, very friendly and helpful and makes you feel right at home.
The units use solar power and therefore load shedding is not a problem either. Liefland Cottages is close to Springbok and also easily accessible from Springbok. There is good security. Liefland can be confidently recommended.

We were on our honeymoon. The place is really a gem of a place. Do yourself a favor and stay at least 2 nights. The most beautiful starry night and the places are neatly private and have such beautiful decor. Braaier is out of the wind.

Liefland cottages are very modernly furnished, owners have very good decor taste, it's comfortable, convenient and it's definitely a place where I will come and stay again and again.
Unity offered much more than the normal. Value for money was just indescribably good. I have never experienced the hostess's sincere, genuine interest and care before. It was a highlight of my three week holiday to be able to stay here and experience the heart of the Northern Cape and its people. What a privilege!!!!
The place is very well located. Not far from the town of Springbok. Well laid out for a nice quiet visit, with nature and tranquility around you.

Everything in the cottage is very beautiful and of high quality, with even your own enclosed yard. The flowers around are beautiful. Can recommend it with great confidence.
We are on a 24-day tour and Liefland is by far the most luxurious accommodation ever compared to the other places. For cold winter days I would only make 2 recommendations to improve, but still thoroughly enjoyed our time.

This was the best stay. The cottage was beautiful and classy, well equipped, very clean, with luxury bedding etc. and extremely comfortable. Can highly recommend this to anyone. The location is easily accessible, close to the town centre should you need to shop and we felt safe and comfortable. Such peaceful surroundings and we truly relaxed. We had cottage no. 1 which has a wood-fired hot tub and what a treat. The communication with Laeticia was efficient and professional. We would 100% recommend this establishment. Cosy, beautifully decorated accommodation, neat, clean and well equipped. The braai on the stoep simply heats the whole stoep on warm winter evenings. Also very convenient if your caravan is traveling with you, in terms of parking, power points, etc.
Liefland is the type of place you want to keep secret to yourself, in the hope that there will always be room available when you travel through the Namaqualand.
Liefland Cottages impressed us in every way. It's easy to get to - just off the N7 - but out of the way enough that the traffic doesn't bother you. The "cottages" are equipped with everything you could need and the beautiful furniture and stylish interior decoration make your stay nice and comfortable. Our favorite part was making a fire on the sheltered porch and looking out over the plains with a glass of wine and our only regret is that we couldn't stay a little longer.

A quiet, clean and spacious place to stay overnight with all the facilities one needs for an overnight stay. The strong WiFi is an asset. Friendly and helpful hostess. Small negative: the pillows on the bed were too firm, big and uncomfortable for us, but some probably like it.

Great getaway, relaxing.
What a surprise to stop here! It's quality of everything here is as good as a 5-star hotel. And us normal souls could afford it at our normal price range. I don't want to single anything out, because then I'm going to write until tomorrow. From the service of the website's follow-up messages right through to the hostess's service was out of the book. Wonderful to discover that people are proud of what they do and offer.
This is not the first time we've been to Liefland, and it will not be the last. Liefland comes highly recommended: ultra comfortable cottages, fitted to contemporary standards, luxurious bedding, spacious bathroom with proper shower (good water pressure), kitchen with all necessary crockery/cutlery and electrical appliances. Lovely secluded patio with BBQ to enjoy sundowners and braai. The cottages are perfectly situated within close proximity to the N7, providing quick and easy access, without the traffic noise being an issue. We even had wood delivered to our cottage. We will not consider staying anywhere else.
The cottage is well appointed and the finishes are classy. The host was great and let us in early and she came and checked in with us. The cottage is really spacious and the view from the braai area is calming and serene.

Out of the 4 places we visited this weekend (and others in the past) I can confidently say that the place far exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed it. The privacy is exceptional. There was nothing old and shabby. Everything worked. The springboks just outside the fence, I could go on and on until you might not believe it anymore, so I'll stop now. Don't drive past Springbok without stopping here.
