I slept in room number 1 and the room is wonderfully spacious with enough cupboards. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. Hostess is very helpful.

Pleasant stay, unfortunately misread about breakfast, would love to eat there. Perhaps a good plan to remind guests upon check-in that breakfast must be requested in advance. No one to see on Sunday morning to talk to. There was also no promised shampoo in our room. But definitely recommendable.

Didn't get the room I booked and the one we got then needed an upgrade. Milk in the room for coffee or tea would also be recommended. Safety is a plus point.

If you are looking for affordable overnight accommodation en route to your destination, I would recommend Lily Guesthouse. The host is very friendly and the beds and linen are of good quality. There is a nice dining room and porch where you can sit and enjoy your takeaway as the rooms are not equipped with a full kitchen (but a microwave and fridge). We are a family of 4 and shared one room (kids slept on bunk beds), so with luggage the room felt a bit cramped, but it was adequate for the short visit. We felt very safe.

Lily Guesthouse had prompt and effective service. I have never been so satisfied with my accommodation in a different city. It was easy to find, beautiful at first sight and (when I got to my room) just as satisfying. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and had a homely quality. It is truly exceptional.
Rooms are not guesthouse quality... Ceiling so low that you can barely stand up in the shower. There is also no good ventilation and the ceiling is already moldy from the shower's dampness. There is a private residence on the 2nd floor right above the room and it is very noisy as they walk up and down.
Owner had pre-assumptions about us and was very rude and unwelcoming. I would never book there again. Truly not for me. The owner even suggested a refund for us on arrival. Poor customer service.
