Had a wonderful weekend with friends.
Very peaceful and quiet. Apartments are below the tasting room but well insulated from any noise during the day. The weather was very hot, so air conditioning would have been great. This is the only reason for giving 4 stars for value for money.
The Lord's Wine Farm house was very clean and tidy. We had a great stay and had a great time. Breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere - would definitely go again!
Unfortunately we were caught in the storm and couldn't get out. Here the owners Jacie and Marinda went out of their way and as hosts exceeded expectations they made us feel like family with excellent hospitality will definitely return.
A beautiful hidden gem just about 15 minutes outside of McGregor :-). The stay with its beautiful, breathtaking and beautiful landscape was such a wonderful surprise, especially to have the beautiful Blue Crowned Bird couple with us as neighbors. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and fresh, a modern and classy touch, very spacious, including fresh and clean bedding and towels. The WiFi was excellent and the food was amazing and tasty. The Lord's Wine Farm wine tasting with Samuel was wonderful, fun, cozy and informative, definitely a must do because their wines are fantastic. A big thank you to the owners Jackie and Jacques, also Samuel, Justin, Mandall, Yvonne, Nandelaine, Shandre and the rest of the staff for your wonderful hospitality, kindness and helpfulness. You are all so precious, a very beautiful family who really made our weekend extra special, we will definitely be back :-). This beautiful gem with its beautiful people is highly recommended and definitely exceeded our expectations:-)!
Lord's Wines is an awesome, amazing place to stay, the peace and quiet, the friendly staff and the upgrade were most of all much appreciated, thank you, Jacques.
Wonderful far from all town noise and main roads. The venue is a special place for comfort, peace end excellent wines. You should not try this, you must just book it.
Fresh mountain air, spacious surroundings with gorgeous views. The farm is well kept with comfortable accommodation and friendly staff. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and the onsite restaurant. Hope to visit again soon.

What an absolute pleasure to stay in the beautiful, well kept, spotlessly clean house, with all the amenities needed. The house is spacious, with a huge dining room table, an indoor and outdoor braai area, and a fire place for cold winter days. The bedrooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. All boxes ticked its fabulous.
Friendly welcome and nice chat with the owner. Great accommodation. Beautiful views of the mountains, valleys and orchards. Tasted good wine and had a delicious meal in the restaurant. We will stay there again.

The unit does not really cater totally for self-catering as the fridge is a tad small and there is no cooking facility other than the braai. Jacques made up for that by offering complimentary coffee and breakfast in the morning. He really went all out to make our stay absolutely enjoyable and hence we left with a few cases of their fantastic wine too.
My friends and I really enjoyed staying at Lord's. The house is nice and big with a breathtaking view. The Lord's wine farm's wines and food are also top notch. It was just what we needed.
Just tell prospective guests to McGregor that there are no, no eateries open in town on a Tuesday night. We had to drive to Robertson.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. They looked well after us. Very peaceful. Will definitely go there again.
