Room and bathroom were excellently equipped with attention paid to every little detail. Milk in the fridge, more than needed in terms of coffee, tea and biscuits. This guest house compares with the best hotels I have seen.

Willie, Minette and the staff are very hospitable and friendly. The old historic house has been exceptionally renovated. Truly a hidden gem. Feel free to visit them!

Great accommodation, we didn't even want to check out. I recommend it. Great hospitality. Has everything you need, was the first time I booked accommodation where all the plugs are in the right place, for example for the hairdryer at the mirror, etc. The place is modern and the place had a lot of love. You won't regret staying here, I will definitely book the place again. It is safe and cozy.

We spent a wonderful 6 nights in Madeliefie. We were overwhelmed by Willie and Minette's hospitality. Our room was clean and neat with all necessities (bar fridge, hair dryer, kettle and wonderful rusks!). We had delicious breakfasts beautifully served every day. Madeliefie is ideally located for any event at Gymnasium High School. Would definitely stay there again with our next visit to Paarl.

I will recommend this gem anytime! The owners made me feel at home from the minute I arrived. The room is spacious, there is internet (very fast) and DStv. It is also reasonably centrally located. I will recommend Madeliefie anytime. It was truly a pleasure staying there.
We received a friendly welcome. The rooms were spacious with a bar fridge, good hairdryers and very tasty rusks. Breakfast is not served at the guesthouse, but they do give you vouchers for two of the coffee shops in town. Unfortunately both coffee shops were closed when we wanted to eat breakfast at 07:45 on the Saturday, but the owners speedily organised for us to eat at the Wimpy and they would pick up the bill. I would go and stay here again anytime.
A very pretty little place and the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. You feel really at home. Ideal for Gim parents or people visiting the hospital. walking distance. Breakfast on the veranda was lovely. Would just have liked a self-help option for breakfast, like a coffee station.
