It is a mere 15km or so from the world famous Kruger National Park, three entrance gates are within easy reach from Mahogany Hill Cottage namely Phabeni, Numbi and the Paul Kruger Gate. Nearby attractions include the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and Pilgrims Rest.
The bird life in the lush Sabie Valley is abundant and one may be fortunate enough to see the shy and elusive Narina Trogon amongst other beautiful birds.
The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering, from the farmhouse kitchen to the gas barbeque on the veranda. The views from the veranda are spectacular. On a clear day one can see as far as the well-known Long Tom Pass. The sunsets are breathtaking and may be enjoyed from the bedrooms, lounge and veranda.
The spacious lounge with a central fireplace links the kitchen to the veranda, the bedrooms and a guest toilet. Mahogany Hill Cottage features two en-suite bedrooms designed for comfort, one furnished with a king size bed and the other a double bed both dressed with percale linen. French doors lead from the bedrooms onto the veranda. The bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. There is a TV in the main bedroom and in the lounge.
In addition, full security is offered by means of an electric fence, external surround beams, and armed response. Access is controlled by a motorised gate.
Activities in the area include horse riding open vehicle safaris, night drives, microlight flights, hot air balloon flights, river rafting, tree canopy trails, quad and dirt bike trails, and golf - to name just a few. We will gladly assist in booking these activities on your behalf.

10 guests' feedbackWe felt incredibly at home and were welcomed right from the first e-mail from Sasha and Marting! The house is wonderfully equipped to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible and we were able to really relax for a few days. Only thing we missed was a pool to cool off after a day of intense Lowveld heat, but that didn't bother us that much. Can really recommend Mahogany Hill Cottage!

Martin is a great host and immediately made us feel at home and welcome. The house is beautifully furnished with everything you would have at home. We had a wonderful time relaxing in their clean, tidy house. Martin I wish you could show some other hosts how it should actually be done! Thank you very much, we will definitely see you again!
It was a pleasure dealing with Sasah and Martin who gave us excellent recommendations for our day at the Kruger Park . The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was spotless clean, the location was great,and everything was well explained. We would definitely recommend.
Our whole family really enjoyed the house and the view from the veranda is something special. Its location is perfect for seeing Graskop, Sabie and other attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, Mac Mac falls, Kruger Wildlife Park and many more. The hosts, Martin and Sasha, are very friendly and hospitable.
The hospitality and the property were exactly what we were looking for, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
