James is a great host and Maison Chablis is just as great as we remember it.
Secure parking behind gate, good breakfast every morning. Owner is always ready with advice and help and good tips for nice places to eat. Beautiful views and ideal location to explore Franschhoek on foot.
Everything was fantastic, from the warm welcome, to the rooms, the swimming pool and the breakfast. Would definitely come again.

Lovely old world decor, the superior double room is very spacious for a longer stay. Loved the garden setting. Close by so you can leave the car and walk about town at your own leisure to explore. Host was very friendly and present to recommend where to eat and what to do. Only problem was the limited DSTV channels.

All good - especially the huge King-sized bed and tasty breakfast!
The management is very professional and helped to find attractions of the area easily. The only objection is that the TV channels were aimed at the overseas market and that Afrikaans channels and SA News were not available.
In Franschhoek everything is a bit expensive, but it was a lovely experience!
