It was very nice and clean.
Just what we needed.
What a great experience. The photos do not tell the truth about Makanyane. In real life the facilities are miles better than the photos suggest. Everything you could need is there, it's private, peaceful and very well equipped.
Unfortunately we were only there one night, because we needed a place to sleep after a wedding in the area, and had to leave early the next morning, but we definitely want to go back again for a whole weekend of peace and quiet.
Lovely quiet visit in comfortable cottages, close enough to Paris for a nice day in the shops in Paris. Management should please look at the hot water in the big cottage, water ran for a long time without getting hot, however we all had a lovely hot shower in the other cottage.
We will go back to Makanyane again. It was particularly peaceful and the place is beautiful with everything you need.

We had a great time at Makanyane and Lekanyane. The stay exceeded our expectations. The places were equipped with everything we could possibly need and the attention to detail was outstanding. Great mattresses, pillows and bedding ensured a good night's rest. The outside shower and double shower inside was a bonus. Antique wooden furniture adds to the "old world charm". Thank you very much for an unforgettable weekend. We will definitely visit again.

Everything was perfect.
Had such a nice stay and visit at Lekanyane (Makanyane). The tranquility is incredible. The outside shower is amazing and has even hot water. Tilla was very friendly. The most enjoyable was the braai in the evenings, where one could make a fire on the boma, in nature. And the house is very beautiful, equipped with everything one needs (kitchen utensils) etc.
Location of Makanyane is very easy toe find. Perfect for couples that just needs to get away from it all. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice and quiet surroundings.

It was incredibly nice.
This was our second visit to Makanyane and we will definitely know to go! Tannie Tilla is a great host and made us feel very welcome. The tranquility and secluded cottage is perfect for a break from the city.
Only stayed one night but could definitely spend more days here. It's very peaceful and the chalet is decently equipped with everything one would need for self-catering accommodation.

Beautiful well-equipped cottage with beautiful antique furniture that fits the farm theme. Lovely porch and outdoor shower overlooking a game camp. Quiet and private but close enough to Paris if you want to go sightseeing or eat out.
We went to rest and get away from work. It was beyond expectations.
The accommodation is extremely neat and the hostess is warm and cordial. The accommodation contains everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the evening on the porch with the torrential rain falling outside. The outdoor shower under the stars was a unique and lovely experience. We really appreciated the fresh flowers in the house and the treats on the bed!

It is perfect for couples, a beautiful little chalet, quiet, safe and private. The hostess has every little detail covered, so you get to relax and enjoy your stay. Ensure bottled water and your braai wood are included on your grocery list.

You actually don't even want to share the place with the world. What a lovely hidden spot! We really enjoyed it! Very private, clean and tidy with everything you need. The treat on the bed was also very special. We are definitely going to visit again to get away from humanity and your everyday rush. Thank you very much.
It's really a great place to stay. We had a fantastic braai at the firepit. The unit is excellently equipped with all the necessities, quality bedding, chairs and blankets to curl up next to the fire with. Even something to keep the mosquitoes at bay! Would definitely stay there again if we visit Parys.

Absolute silence where you can enjoy the rich bird life from the veranda of your neat, fully equipped unit. A bonus is the wildlife visiting the border from the neighbouring game farm from time to time. Just remember to bring your own braai wood.
